LouiseDeBlois Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Hi, me again. Small issue, last one, promise. Ha, I know how to unwrap, but, this struck me as odd. When i unwrapped my object I got a square, with a circle in it. This also happens on basic cubes when spawned in, not sure how to fix this issue. Thanks for any help in advance
Anna Nova Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 How did you unwrap it? It looks to me like you have the default unwrap, which means that every face is mapped on top of every other one. Try a Smart Unwrap.
arton Rotaru Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Yeah, how did you unwrap it? Did you mark any edges as seams on the mesh? Applying rotation & scale before unwrapping is good advice also.
LouiseDeBlois Posted April 28, 2017 Author Posted April 28, 2017 Sorry for the delay everyone, was unable to reach to PC for some time, I recently went back to blender to update you lot. I used a smart unwrap before, but, when doing it this time, it also did the same thing. But, when i used an older version of blender on my laptop, the unwrap went perfectly. So, I am unsure of what went wrong. Sorry once more for the delay in a reply, and thanks for all the input.
