Is there a minimum percentage of rares to commons in a vendor's gacha machine?

Question

Are gacha machines regulated in regards to percentage of commons vs. rares?

I KNOW that it is a game of chance, and I love playing them! (gach addict!!) :smileylol:

Let's say I played a single machine 62 times, and recieved a single rare. Wouldn't that make it a 0.016129 percent chance of getting a rare? Is there a standard percentage. It just seemed rather odd to me (and no, this is not a case of "I wanna win a rare" pouting!)

TIA for any help!

My guess - and this is a COMPLETE guess, no insider information here! - is that there's a somewhat higher percentage chance that resets each play. Say, for instance, 10% chance to win a rare EACH PLAY, unaffected by the number of plays on that machine. Otherwise, a) you're right, the chance of winning a rare would be ridiculously small, and/or b) there would be an unfair chancce of someone else swooping in and snagging a rare after you've been playing the machine.

A flat chance reset each play seems most reasonable.

From what I can see, the percentage chances of winning any item is set by the machine's owner, and the probability of winning a particular item is the same for each round.

I am not a gacha machine owner or scripter, but I infer the above from the description of a gacha machine script I found on the Marketplace: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/PXL-SmartGacha-Scripts-for-Gacha-machines/6276364
