I can't downgrade from premium?

I set my land for sell yesterday and now it says abandoned (it guess it didn't sell?), yet I can't downgrade my account to basic from premium. Anyone know why this is?

Until it sells, land you set for sale stays for sale. Land doesn't automatically become abandonded. It only becomes abandonded if you (or someone else with rights) specifically abandonds it. If you have no land you should be able to change to basic. After changing you account type to basic, your premium benefits stay in effect until your next billing date comes to pass.

Odd. I set it for sell yesterday and it did not sell (my linden balance has not changed) yet it says abandonded now.

 

I'm getting this message when trying to downgrade. 

 

An error occurred while processing your request

• Basic users may not contribute land to groups. You must delete the tier contributions you made to groups which you belong before downgrading to the Basic Plan

 

Not sure how to do this.

well... you have land donated.. go to the group profile and put it to 0 (zero)

More specifically, you have tier donated to a group. Go into World > My Land Holding to see where it is and set it to 0.

The land automatically changing to Abandoned sound more like a mistake on your part, and you abandoned it instead of setting it for sale. Or someone with those rights did it.
