We would have no idea when a merchant will be back.  We don't even know they went anywhere,  but if they did, they could be on vacation or out of town for other reasons.  They could be ill or have a RL emergency going on.  The point is that merchants are people just like everyone else who have RL's and some can't log into SL everyday.

As noted in the answers for your previous question, most of these merchants have redelivery terminals. Did you go to their shops to get redelivery?  Merchants may not be willing to take up their time to send you a replacement when you can easily get one yourself, especially since it was your fault you lost the items. 

 The other possibility is if  you sent them a note asking for replacements, they just may not be responding yet.  Did you provide proof of purchase when you asked for replacements, such as a copy of your transaction record or at least a date of purchase?  If not the merchant will have to look it up in their records which could take a long time.
