I am getting blurry textures on a lot of my prims...

I have noticed recently that a lot of textures seem to be getting blurred.

Not just mine, but lots of others all over SL.

Is this an SL problem, or my viewer problem....I am using Phoenix.

Would clearing the cache help?

i was getting blurred textures on some prims in my home and clearing cache solved it. not sure about prims that u dont own

what version of phoenix are you using? you might want to try version 908 or 977 (public beta) some of the older versions had a texture issue where they would repeatedly bounce from rezz to blur

Try disabling HTTP GetTextures in advanced > rendering & then relogging. That helps some people with that issue.

Clearing Cache solved this for me too.

It's a very annoying problem when building. Took me ages before I realised it was the viewer. I kept asking my partner if he was sure he liked the texture and he kept saying yes it's great, and I started thinking maybe that smudgy smeary look does add something.
