Are they working on new payment methods for other countries, especially Brazil?

Adding new payment methods increases the complexity of the accounting and security systems that Linden Lab has to deal with, not to mention the web of legal agreements.  The more payment options they offer for residents, the more staff they have to hire, eventually increasing costs for everyone.  Last summer, Linden Lab added Skrill accounts as an option that is particularly attractive for SL residents ouside of North America.  I wouldn't expect them to make further additions any time soon.

I believe that both PayPal and Skrill operate in Brazil.  And both of them accept either major credit cards or RL bank accounts as the account backup.  I'm not sure how much more flexibility you need than that.
