Account on hold but no TOS Violation

I haven't logged into this account in almost 10 months. I have no idea why my account would be on hold. I've never received any emails or indications that my account was being used while I wasn't logging into it. Any idea why my other account would be put on hold?

Check your account balance (at secondlife.com >>> Account).  One of the most common reasons that people are placed on hold is that they have an unpaid bill.

Rolig's suggestion is a very good one...be sure you don't have an unpaid balance.

If that is not it, it's possible that your account was "stolen"...that is, someone got access to your account password, maybe through a phishing scam.  If so, that person may have done things with your account that violated the Terms of Service and got you suspended or banned.

Pay your bills, or if that's not the problem, file a Support Ticket as Sven suggests to investigate further.
