how do i stop my avatar from sinking below ground level

when i work on my avatar's appearance... after first change the avatar sinks below ground lev el... how do i fix or stop this

Hi wichapiska,

Your "hover" height shouldn't change when you edit other avatar shape parameters, but if it did, that's the parameter you need to adjust. Here's how to do it, copied directly from the wise old venerable admirable vivacious Rolig Loon...

"Open Appearance >>> Edit Shape >>> Body and scroll down to the Hover slider, at the very bottom of the list.  Ideally, your av should be standing correctly if the slider is set at 50, but you may need to move it gently to move yourself up or down.  If you are wearing a no-mod shape, that option is not available and you will be stuck with your feet underground forever."

It sounds like you were able to make edits to your avatar shape, so you should have access to the hover setting.
