Some would joke to this but up on top of the screen there is a giant red [X] simply click on it to exit the game then log back in to continue

Hello Akargo,

I see that yesterday may have been your first day in Second Life. So, I'm going to guess that you appeared in-word in a place you found less than welcoming. For some reason that rational humans cannot explain, the creators of this world, Linden Lab, thought it was a good idea to birth new residents in the most unwelcome areas of SL... the welcome areas.

But there is a way to escape this madness! If you check the "Destination Guide", you'll seed a great many interesting places to visit. They are only a "Teleport" away. And teleporting is one of the first things you must learn, it's covered here. I also suggest you delve into the "Quick Start Guide".

Second Life is probably unlike anything you've ever experienced, and will require some patience. Hang in there, this nuthouse is filled with loveable nuts. You just have to dig a little to find them.
