I always thought 1nnovat1on Design or InVerse had some pretty decent homes. Not too expensive either.

Log into the SL marketplace - https://marketplace.secondlife.com/?lang=en-US

Type 'mesh' into the Search bar, then hit enter.

On the left menu, click 'Buildings and Other structures.'

Then click 'Residential Structures.'

1,463...possibly more...homes will be there for you to look through and choose from. :smileywink:

I got a really nice house by The Domineaux Effect called Old Orchard Cottage. The windows open and close, the details are great. I love my house! Fanatik has some cool stuff too.

As others have said, but also look at Creative Decay, Dutchie and Laq Decor.

Could I ask what prim-count and/or land impact the house you chose has?  I looked at the marketplace in response to this thread and most of the mesh houses I found were ridiculously high - 200+ for a smallish house, for instance.

I have a beautiful skybox by  [ba] that's mesh. The inside is lovely and it has a view outside the window that's 3d so it looks like it's a real apartment. land impart is 30.  I think they sell full homes as well. All really nice stuff. The one I have is the haight apartment.

omg! The Quantum homes are the BEST! I had the largest original prim version a few years ago and LOVED it. I'm a house junkie but I kept that one for a whole year. When I have a sim again, I'll be getting the new largest mesh version. They are beee yu ti ful!
