I ran a speed test and my downloads are around 30mbs and upload is 5mbs so no issue there. It ran fine yesterday. I am using Firestorm by the way, and I have been through the forums already. I have updated my graphics driver as well. Actually I updated it and rolled it back just to be sure and have the same issue either way. I haven't had any previous issues until I did a Windows update. Does anyone have any thoughts on this please?

Windows Update will frequently decide to update a Graphics Driver if the manufacturer is participating in the Certified Driver Distribution program. If you have been maintaining your GCs Drivers yourself and downloading the most current version directly the WU could have regressed your driver. Most of the time this would be a significant; downgrade of the Graphics Driver.

Try DLing & Installing the most current driver from you Graphics Card Manufacturer.

Funny you asked that because I rolled back the update and went to bed. When I wok up I reinstalled FS and its working like it used to so thanks to all that replied. I am getting about 16fps and I am sure there is some tweaking I can do to improve that if you have any suggestions.

That's your problem. I'm sorry to break the bad news to you but Intel Integrated Graphics is not up to the job of rendering Second Life. If your computer is a laptop, you're out of luck. If your computer is a desktop with a PCI-Express expansion slot, go out and buy yourself a decent graphics card with at least 1 gb of either DDR3 or DDR5 RAM. No need to spend a fortune: any mid-range graphics card will do such as an Nvidia GT640 or ATI 5770 or higher.

In the meanwhile turn off all the fancy SL eye candy such as lighting, shadows, etc and you should be able to get around if you keep your draw distance at 96 metres or less.
