If I win a Linden Auction for a parcel.... 1. How do if it's Mainland or are all Linden auctions on Mainland? 2. Do I then have full rights? Like teraforming, estate rights, etc? Thank you for any information you can offer.

I'm certain this has been asked, and answered so forgive me in advance and I will explain this the best that I can. If I am understanding this correctly, as a premium member I am entitled to a 2048 in total? I may be misunderstanding but it seems I have my 1024 LL Home & an additional granted 1024 bonus before land fees are applied? If that is correct and I bought a 4096 in auction would my monthly fees then be $13 monthly, the price of a 2048? I do hope I explained my question clearly and thank you for any responses I receive!

Maybe someone can offer some insight to this mystery for me. At Fogbound Blues I can get every DJ but two of them and I don't understand why? I have checked my media and I am not blocking any streams or sights so what may be causing this? I apologize if this is the wrong forum.

I am trying to make an "L" shaped prim which I can do however the starting point for he cut is not where I want it to start. Is there a way to manipulate where the cut starts when doing this?

I see people posting in forums they are selling thier regions for let's say $250 (plus tranfer fees). What exactly does that mean? Does LL transfer the region to you and change the name to whatever I want? And what are the monthly fees after that? Will it be $295 a month for "maintenance"? In other news: Regardless of staff, servers, air conditioning or whatever else was cited earlier, that cost is excessive. It's not out of my price range but whether or not I can afford it is irrelevant. I have rented various size lands and I am not new to SL, and the reality is that they charge too much money but have us pigeon-holed. It's a form of gouging if you ask me. Linden Labs will make their money and would probably have more people investing in private regions if costs were lower.

I get that but you are still paying over $100 monthly. That is a lot of money, real money. I think LL are making out like bandits when it comes to land and the price the charge. And more than likely people who are renting out homesteads are people that are locked in at a different price and are making money anyway. I just get a little frustrated with this stuff because I think LL charges too much for their land and maintenance fees are a joke. Just my two cents. Thank you for the replies by the way

So if I read this right Linden Labs charges you $1000 "Set Up" and $295 a month to own a piece of land with 15,000 prim? And you have to be a Premium member to even do that?

The site tells me it is located at Tamborine (18,160) but I csannot find it and when I click on that link and it goes to the page to teleport you, I never get a tp option so now what?

Funny you asked that because I rolled back the update and went to bed. When I wok up I reinstalled FS and its working like it used to so thanks to all that replied. I am getting about 16fps and I am sure there is some tweaking I can do to improve that if you have any suggestions.

I ran a speed test and my downloads are around 30mbs and upload is 5mbs so no issue there. It ran fine yesterday. I am using Firestorm by the way, and I have been through the forums already. I have updated my graphics driver as well. Actually I updated it and rolled it back just to be sure and have the same issue either way. I haven't had any previous issues until I did a Windows update. Does anyone have any thoughts on this please?
