Does anyone know how to adjust an avatar height off the ground on coolviewer, my feet are about 6 inches above the floor

Actually, I was looking to do do the oposite with the SL viewr. Is it possible to have your feet hovering above ground?

In the official viewer, not really. It can happen by accident, but you can't adjust the height offset in the official viewer on purpose; that's a TPV feature.

 ETA: Unless you fly all the time, and hover just above the ground; or find an AO with float animations instead of stands.

I can't find a complete features list for Catznip, so I'm not even sure if they offer that feature; not all TPV's do. They do have an inworld support group, so I would recommend asking there. Here's a link to their website, where they tell you how to find the support group.

In Catznip R7, it's in Preferences > Catznip. It looks like a textbox, which is a bit stupid from an implementation point of view, but it works fine.

I would far rather have it as a slider.
