I'm sorry but it does look like a bit like latex because of the way the shine was done though I could see how it's also meant to be silk. I'm assuming it's your drawing that's why your so offended. You need to learn to take critiques on your work a little better. If someone mistakes your silk for latex taht should be taken as an oppertunity to improve not nessicarily as an insult.
