It is a process.

First you sell your Linden dollars and the Dollar amount will be credited to your account.

You can use that money to pay for things such as tier or premium membership, etc.

If you rather have that money sent to you, you have to Process Credit (Withdrawal).

The Withdrawal can be by Paypal or bankwire.

You may choose to withdraw your US dollar balance via PayPal or bank wire.

  • PayPal will not permit payments to your country.
  • You are expecting payment of $10,000 or more.

Just FYI --- When you sell L$ on the Lindex, Linden Lab charges a fee of 3.5% on the transaction.  That means that when you sell L$10,000 (for $38.92 at today's exchange rate), you will actually receive $37.51.  When you BUY L$, they take $0.30 on each transaction, regardless of its size. So, if you plan to use L$ in world in the future, you should keep enough in your account so that you don't need to buy them.  After all, there's no point in paying LL to let you cash out your L$ and then paying them AGAIN to buy new ones.  (Not only that, but any L$ you earn and spend in SL is "funny money." As soon as you cash out L$, however, they count as real income that you are technically supposed to be reporting on your income taxes.   Just another thing to think about .... :smileywink: )
