Are other people having problems posting in Answers this afternoon?

I've been getting invalid character errors in my postings all afternoon. Semi-colon is outlawed now along with several rare Internet URL Address characters. Also, I've had to resort to cutting then pasting my resonse from here into a notepad session and then cutting and pasting that into the Comment Text area. Weird.

Haha YES - I thought it was just me, so I tried to post on an alt, I tried different browsers, then I gave up.

Mine said it had an ampersand in it, but it didn't.

LL is evidently taking your complaint to heart and is trying out some anti-sport griefer tweaks, Karen. I have been editing the HTML code to get around it, but it is painful.

yes it's happening to me too.  Apparently the number 1 is not allowed, nor is the ampersand.  Also I got a "post flooding" error message saying I had posted 1 time in 3600 seconds.

If it gets that sports BS stuff fixed (or reduced), I'm for it. I'd rather put up with difficulties like certain characters being rejected than the page after page of spam we've been getting over the last couple months.

I just hope that the "certain characters" don't end up being ones that cripple us here, like the ampersand that's scattered all through the HTML.
