Hi ya'll,

In my contact list, I noticed that a friend of mine can locate me on a map. That is, the little check mark is there in the box that allows him to do so.  What's weird, is that I never selected that option! And when i try to deselect the checkmark, it is grayed out, so I cant make any changes!

Does anyone else have this problem?

How do I remove that checkmark, so he CANT see where I am on a map?

Thanks for any advice,

Mouse

In Firestorm, there are two sections that shows those permissions.  The ones that are grayed out are what HE has set for YOU.  In other words, he has given YOU permission to find HIM on the map.  The permissions you've given HIM are NOT grayed out and are to the left of the ones grayed out.

I bet if you look, you're seeing the permissions he's given YOU.  Try this:  Open his profile and click "Find On Map."  I bet it will work!
