I began a thread asking if people read merchant blogs.  The responses were mixed but pretty much confirmed that it is but one of many ways to advertise one's business and probably not the most effective.

Yes blogs are opiniated posts by indiciduals. That is why they are 

- dangerous for your reputation
- powerful PR tools

Think about it. What if someone searches in Google for "Sweethearts Jazz Club" and the the first entries are rants about your club? What would your shop renters think about that? The blog in question ranks number one for "nancee sinatra" and for "franks jazz club".

But only blogs that actually have relevant traffic are worth looking at for PR. A blog that nobody reads may as well not exist.

This brings me to an idea: I would like to write an article on my own blog (/me points to signature) about your club (a positive one :-)) . It has about 10.000 visits per month.

Time for an interview?
