"Setting up a resort in the middle of a group of other sims can be challenging.  Why should people stay with you when they can travel to these other places anyway and tp home within seconds? One of SL's newest resorts, the Bonaire YanuYanu,  passes that question with flying colours in that it really works with and integrates its surroundings." "Nefeli – this is the name of the island of which I’m about to tell you. Named thus after Nephele, the cloud nymph of Greek mythology. Created by Zeus from a cloud (νέφος – nephos – in Greek) in the image of Hera; mother of the Centaurs, and also of Phrixus and Helle, who both featured prominently in the myth of the Golden Fleece." "Today's travels take us to one of the newer stamp dispenser locations, on the Nautilus continent, Mala Regional Airport.  In the ever immersive attempt to make a real adventure out of this trek, and to show off the numerous airports where stamps are available, I decided once again to take the trusty Dani D-50, emblazoned with the BBB logo, and make an actual plane trip out of it." "I happened to visit Ilha do Sol in Second Life shortly before its transformation — and when I recently went back there, I had the pleasure of finding a small beach town inspired by traditional Portuguese coastal villages and flanked by a surf area and a vineyard plantation. The whole thing extends over three regions not only well landscaped, but also perfectly integrated, with smooth transitions between them." Read more on the blog.

"Nekomachi Street is a sky platform in Tonarino region, in Second Life, that depicts a Japanese town inhabited by anthropomorphized cats. In the (almost fully) still scene composed there, they behave like humans: they go to restaurants, work as waiters at bars, ride bikes, deliver pizza, go to the movies and so on. They are like us — but they are cats." Read more on the blog.

"Occupying a Homestead region and recently opened, Sunvana is a public setting offering visitors a chance for some “sweet summer escape”.  Laid out as a vacation spot, it is the work of Jayce (Jayce Takeda) – with some assistance from Peter (Peterkes Beaton) and Kaelyn Alecto (TheNewKae) – the region is also home to Jayce’s Moment pose brand." "Today's visit takes us to the mainland continent of Corsica once again, a neighbor of The Campbell Coast, but I do not believe it is directly connected (although I could be wrong.) Regardless, C.K. Ballyhoo has incorporated many of the same excellent design elements that Kitten Mills (landscaper for The Campbell Coast) uses for the designs into the area called C.K.'s Smugglers Cove." "The last few weeks for me have been a blur, but one thing that brings me back to peace is travel. Taking quiet, mindful journeys around our world allows me to focus intently on the energy of creativity, which in turn revitalizes my own creative energy and spirit of creation. If you ever need an energetic pick-me-up, I'd suggest grabbing your passport and taking a flight!" Read more on the blog.
