"Second Life Endowment for The Arts opened January 1, 2021 and as many new projects unfold, SLEA has been finding its own “sea legs” and special niche amidst all of the existing SL Art Communities. The original proposal for the overall SLEA project back in 2020 included 2D representation but with the numerous, already established, successful 2D art galleries in existence along with the birth of many new galleries, SLEA made a conscious decision to go slow and deliberate concentrating more on 3D and fine tuning. "Artsville is the name given to a new collaborative arts hub in Second Life, which opened over the weekend of June 24th through 26th with a trio of 2D art exhibitions. The hub is the work of Vally Lavender-Prodigy (Valium Lavender), who provides the space for the hub on her ValiumSL region; Frank Atisso, who has closed his own Art Korner to focus on curating Artsville, with the overall design and layout of the hub by Megan Prumier." "Raglan Shire, Second Life’s Tiny community, has once again opened its doors to people from across the grid as participating artists and visitors are invited to the Raglan Shire Artwalk 2022.
This year, the the event runs from Sunday, May 15th, through until Sunday, June 19th, 2022. It  offers an opportunity not just to appreciate a huge range of art from both the physical and digital worlds, but to also tour the Shire regions and enjoy the hospitality of the Raglan Shire community."

"Just before yesterday my post about Nils Urqhart’s exhibition “The Forgotten Worlds” at United Artist of SL in the Galerie Principale has been published... I wrote that Nils has a lot of exhibitions in different SL galleries and I got another invitation to see “Waterfalls” by Nils Urqhart. This exhibtion is at a place named “The Uzine”." "Bryn Oh gave me the opportunity of seeing/expieriencing her latest installation “Lobby Cam” that is going to open on May 1st. So far I have visited Bryn Oh’s sim Immersiva a few times but I never spent enough time to immerse deeper into her installation. Getting this exclusive opportunity I decided to visit her newest installation, which is not at her sim Immersiva but on a sim named Immersivist." Read more on the blog.
