Magnolia & Honey - 2.jpg

"Taking a walk back to the castle from a lovely day together at Hogsmeade, Blake had noticed someone played a small trick, leaving a bit of Mistletoe hanging from the tree with red ribbon. The night before laid a heavy sheet of white snow on the ground, making the ribbon easy to spot, for those who didn’t have their nose in a book." Read more on the blog.

"If you Know Bjoy & Doc or have been to Campbell Coast you have experienced generosity and such warm souls. Bjoy is dealing with some rough times due to her illness and unfortunately had to sell Campbell Coast. I hope she finds the time to rest and recover and comes back refreshed. She said she will pop in soon!" Read more on the blog.

Science Circle - 1.jpg

"The Science Circle sponsored a colloquium on online education, Experiences of Teaching Online from Different Perspectives, on January 8, 2021. With the mass exodus of students from the physical classroom due to the world-wide COVID-19 pandemic, learning online has become the new norm. Teachers have literally been caught up in a revolution. While online activities and computer-based learning has grown over the past two decades, no one was prepared to go to 100% online teaching and learning. The colloquium sought to explore the effects this unprecedented and rapid change has caused." Read more on the blog.

The Good Gorean - 3.jpg

"Today's post is all about the people of Torvaldsland, Vikings and all the Northern cultures who endure the harsh winters and jarring temperatures on Earth and other fictional worlds. Earth's most weather-resilient cultures have lived in these conditions for a number a centuries – special diets and survival skills to brave the elements are essential to these long-standing communities and the inspiration of so many role-players that take their storytelling seriously." Cross Your Fingers When You Lie

"The last time I took one of those personality tests was about five years ago. Back then, I was an ENTP-T. A couple nights ago, I tried again and I am now an ISFP-T. I spoke to my SL sister about it, and she thinks it fits. It just got me thinking about how we are all constantly changing, how life experiences and what we take from them mold us and help for us to grow." Read more on the blog.

That Time I Asked Everyone To Go Caroling with Me

"This is the photo that I mentioned I was working on yesterday. While I’ve been planning on this photo since probably Thanksgiving, I procrastinated far too much. Regardless, I am so happy with the result. This year’s prompt was, “Pretend I asked/forced you to go caroling with me.” I felt like it fits because it’s like when I have these random projects and cajole my friends to take part with me." "A while back I did a post called Ill-Behaved Women where I created some portraits of women from history that chose to make their own path rather than follow the one that society deemed “Appropriate”, in honor of Women’s History Month this month I am expanding on that project and will be doing a whole series of portraits of women throughout history." "...Earlier this month, I have found myself lost in the world of Second Life - lost in the most amazing way possible, of course. I have known about Second Life for a very, very long while. I don't quite know how I found out about it, but the idea of it enthralled me from day one. It wasn't until a week or so ago that I began to research into starting out, and decided to finally sign up." "Blogging, especially about Second Life, can become an incredibly time-consuming holiday, and life events conspired to make it impossible to continue. But I always thought I’d be back, perhaps not to publish updates as frequently as before, but still writing about the virtual world that is still my second home.  What’s happened since I was last here?"
