"What better way to spend your Saturday shopping in various shops, getting monster deals, and then go home to relax with your best friend? I would imagine that is the way I would have loved spending my day today! Instead, I am relaxing to some cool music, hugging Claus, and enjoying a nice sunny Saturday afternoon! I love Spring, just saying!" Read more on the blog.

"I love Halloween. It’s really my favorite holiday. This year I’m going to curl up with movies, Bell, Book and Candle and The Mummy, a bowl of popcorn and a glass of dry red wine. OK, so this is a column about science. To justify this particular offering, I decided to see if I could find any scientific excuses for my enjoyment of Halloween." Read more on the blog.

"The Science Circle sponsored a colloquium on online education, Experiences of Teaching Online from Different Perspectives, on January 8, 2021. With the mass exodus of students from the physical classroom due to the world-wide COVID-19 pandemic, learning online has become the new norm. Teachers have literally been caught up in a revolution. While online activities and computer-based learning has grown over the past two decades, no one was prepared to go to 100% online teaching and learning. The colloquium sought to explore the effects this unprecedented and rapid change has caused." Read more on the blog.

"Whether it’s to follow bloggers or just to see what their favorite stores have been up to, users might be checking on their own daily, or they might be directed by links in a notice in-world or on other social media platforms. This information concerns all users, including bloggers, stores, events, photographers, and everything else. If you take a picture of something Second Life-related and add it to Flickr, this may apply to you." Read more on the blog

"I’ve always loved rooftop scenes in movies and tv shows. It always looks so cool with the way they make the roof of a building into something completely different. When I was growing up, my mother always had a lot of houseplants. She would struggle when we lived in apartments, because she wanted a yard where she could plant bushes and outdoor flowers." "Okay, I never REALLY left. However, I did take a long break from my actual blog site to try my hand at micro blogging. It was fun. It was quick and eventually it was really easy. I knew there were about seven people that read my blog (at least four of them are close friends), but I really didn’t believe that many people were actually reading what I wrote. After winning the Most Humorous Blogger award…well, now I’m like…y’all actually read it?" Read more on the blog.

"I glanced over the side of the hot air balloon basket and waved to the people on the ground. My heart beat faster the closer to the edge I stood. A smile formed on my face at how small things on the ground seemed. My eyes darted to the birds that flew through the air next to me. I watched him swoop through the air and then disappear into the trees. The bottom of my skirt fluttered in the wind and brushed against my upper thigh. It was time for me to get to the task of cleaning out my friends list." Read more on the blog.

"Every year like clock work the day of ones birth comes around. In Second Life it is known as ones Rez Day. In real life it is ones birthday. Birthdays are about celebrating life. It is to celebrate the person being part of this universe and how their life might have touched others. To celebrate with them while they are alive. Some people like to throw celebrations and birthday parties. After all, everyone loves a birthday party, right?" Read more on the blog.

"As I stared down at the bill in front of me, I wrinkled my forehead. My eyes narrowed as I stared at the strange “customer service” charge. I scanned over to see the new $10 charge. I scratched my head and let out a deep breath. After I checked my notes I recalled what the issue had been. So, I called customer service." Read more on the blog.
