"Valentine’s Day is almost here, and Seraphim is thrilled to bring back our popular Gift List for the occasion! This is the time of year that shoppers are sending gifts to those they love. Let the grid know you have gift-able items (either transfer or left-click to gift vendor options) by having your brand showcased on The Valentine’s Gift List by Seraphim." Read more on the blog.

"Seraphim is excited to bring back three of our most popular holiday featured lists – Advent Calendars, Holiday Sales, and stores with Giftable Vendors and Transferable Items. This year, instead of dividing all the goodies for SL shoppers into three separate posts, we are excited to announce the combination of all three into a Holiday Savings Mega List that is sure to please SL shoppers. All listings will be posted to include the name of each store, the Gift List category, and a SLurl." Read more on the blog.

"...the world was a very different place when SL appeared. There was no Facebook, no iPhone nor Minecraft. In 2003, when Second Life was released, the general public met Safari web browser and Skype for the first time. It was also when Eve Online MMORPG was launched. Back then, SL was actually one of the most immersive experiences one could have in a computer generated 3D environment that was not exactly a game, in a traditional sense (even if in the early days of its conception, before its public release, what would come to be known as Second Life was more game-like than it is today)." "An old song says so (Lazy Sunday by SNL Digital Short), and this is the SLEA MusicLAB Lazy Sunday Show mood: a weekly event on Sunday evenings, when everyone is a bit sleepy and you don’t know what to do. It is not necessarily a musical event, but a space where you can propose ideas that are even a little bizarre. And more, MusicLAB is not a club, but a space where express your creativity." Read more on the blog.

"An exciting collaboration is coming to SLEA from our friends at Seanchai Library. For those of you who may not have heard about this well respected SL anchor organization, it is one of Second Life’s longest running spoken word programs – dedicated to sharing stories of all kinds through live presentations. Seanchai has been bringing the art of telling stories to life in Second Life (and other virtual worlds) since 2008." Read more on the blog.

"18 Years of Second Life is indeed the perfect Time to Celebrate! Second Life Endowment for The Arts is excited to make it’s maiden voyage to the “Incredible” region. Incredible is an understatement to describe over 20 regions aesthetically designed and landscaped by the infamous SL moles. Amidst a perfectly balanced overtone of fantasy landscaping the regions come alive with diversity guaranteed to satisfy the design flavor palette of all who visit. It does not take long to realize you are among friends and in a truly happy place." Read more on the blog.
