"The closer it gets to Christmas and my birthday, the worse I feel. Well, maybe not worse. I don’t really know how to describe what I’m feeling other than “nothing.” I just feel empty. As if someone reached inside me and ripped out all of my emotions leaving behind an empty shell of the woman that I used to be. It’s nothing anyone is doing. Rather it is me." Read more on the blog.
"Tannenbaum is back , brought to you by prism events , it is a yearly event for Christmas!! So if you love Christmas as much as i do come on and fetch your linden because trust me , you will want to buy it all !" Read more on Flickr.
"I remember what most Christmas trees looked like when I first started out in Second Life, way, waaay back in 2007. To put it mildly, in the old pre-mesh days, they were not pretty. I loaded up one of my oldest avatars and did some rummaging through his oldest inventory items, to find an example of the sort of thing that we had to put up (and put up with) at Christmastime:" Read more on the blog.
"I have been in the blogging doldrums for a wee while now and even on the rare occasions I’ve had time to blog I haven’t really felt motivated and inspired to do so. Then, I visited Tannenbaum and saw the house release there by Hisa. Hisa haven’t released a house I don’t like to be honest so I wasn’t surprised that I liked this one very much but as soon as I saw it it conjured an image of what is often referred to as a ‘Chocolate Box’ picture." " I made myself hot chocolate. I missed my mother. In my window, maple leaves rusted, young fall blooming.” Read more on the blog.
"Although I’m sad to see the lovely Christmassy livingroom/tree set up that Gocha Merlin has used as a backdrop for all her Advent gifts I think a lot of us will appreciate this much simpler set up as each star has the date on it." Read more on the blog.
"Just a little Second Life decor for you today. Carmen King, Coco Games, Reyna and Ariana Starlight joined me for a wild game of Truth or Dare. It’s been nearly a year since I played that on YouTube." Read more on the blog.
"I imagine that it might be difficult to find things to appreciate, with COVID and all, but where I live, we just 'celebrated' Thanksgiving. It was not easy, as family had to stay apart instead of coming together as usual. At least, though, we were alive to hopefully meet in person next year ... and in times of stress and uncertainty, it is very vital to focus on positives. It certainly made me grateful that there are technological advances to allow us to communicate with each other, which at least allowed my family to talk to each other!" Read more on the blog.
"This picture has been sitting on my PC for a few days now because after I finished it, my mind was so chaotic that I didn’t know what to write about. This year has been such hell for so many people, myself included. I pray that next year is better and everyone receives many blessings after such turmoil." Read more on the blog.
"Just what you need for your company on Thanksgiving!" Read more on Flickr.
"Today I am featuring more goodies from Tannenbaum by Prism Events. I mentioned the other day that I was excited for this year’s round of Tannenbaum and it didn’t disappoint. I bundled up, grabbed some coffee, put on my winter blush and cold breath and off I went." Read more on the blog.
"Pets, like their owners, tend to expand a little over the Christmas period." Read more on the blog.
