"October is the best time to login to Secondlife purely for the celebrations of Halloween! There are tons of cool sims, events, mazes, games to explore and have fun around the grid that even for the introvert person that I am, wants to come out and have fun! I decided to explore Deadman's Island which is a cool sim with tons of detail that would be great for your Halloween themed photography!" Click to watch the video on YouTube.

"I'm sure you've often come across Second Life locations and wondered, why is this place not getting more traffic? That's the thought I had when I stumbled across the really nicely done Sunrise Motel, part of the Bennetville National Park. I am hoping that this review in a small way goes to change that." "This is the first of a series of reviews about Second Life Motels.  These will be a bit different, and generally shorter, than the ones I do about hotels and resorts, but hopefully each will still give you a good overview of what to expect. As with hotels, I'll say if it's recommended or not, and then from that I intend to soon produce a list of the top Motels in Second Life." "Because of the lack of really good hotels on open sims (e.g. where you can just go and visit, without pre-booking on a website), I was excited to learn about the opening of the Victoria Hotel. So much so that my friend KT Syakumi and myself let ourselves in to have a look around and enjoy the pool before it was officially open." "The Gazette is normally published at one minute past midnight SLT on Saturday, but this week we are publishing one day early to coincide with the opening of SL's Sci-Fi Expo 2021, which is offering a special, limited edition event stamp for your Bellisseria Passport." Read more on the blog.

"Debuting in the SeraSim Spotlight this fortnight we have Vanity Poses – founded by the wonderful Vanity Mirror in December of 2011. Born from curiosity, Vanity stepped into Second Life and has not looked back since. Using this platform as a creative outlet to bring a touch of realism and comfort to the Second Life community, she has enabled her customers to express themselves freely and explore their own art and creativity through use of her poses and props." "Our proposed sub-offices on Linden Department of Public Works land have been eagerly anticipated since the prototypes were displayed on our stand at SL18B. The designs have now been been completed. They are being tested at secret locations in-world. The plan is for our beloved Moles to place them on public land. The date of placement has yet to be confirmed." Read more on the blog.

"Second Life offers, in this magical fall season, intriguing themed destinations made with attention to detail and attention to realism.
In this article I propose, 5 that I recommend visiting and that can be valuable for photography. Moreover, they are destinations that offer the right to the rez to those who join the inworld group, so they allow a remarkable possibility to enjoy the beauty of these autumn landscapes." "The Overlook at Cha isn't so much a hotel of the kind that I normally visit, but more of a hotel themed experience. As a result, this isn't a normal review (it wouldn't be fair, as you are not comparing like with like), but a mini-article introducing the concept to you, and of course providing the SLURL for you to visit." "Fall season in second life is the best. Pumpkin lattes, muffins, cakes and so many delicious treats. I love to visit Second life coffee shops for relaxing and studying. Some people might say it’s strange but I find that it’s very relaxing to have it in the background. During Covid, going to a coffee shop is risky business. So I can visit a second life coffee shop in the Safety of my own home." Read more on the blog.
