"Jade Koltai is back with another region design which continues the work she began with the late Serene Footman: delivering to Second Life a setting reflective of one of the more intriguing and/or unusual locations to be found in the physical world." Read more on the blog.

"Nordic Aire is an Airbnb concept from Interior Designers and events management company The Rookie Uncut.   This is the first in what will be a series of different destination concepts, that will fall under the brand ‘Rookie Destinations.’ Aria and myself went to stay shortly after it opened.  It’s quite intimate and very suited to couples, so it may be somewhere you want to take your significant other for Valentine’s Day, or indeed on any date occasion for one night." "Sam Rougefeu, by way of Twitter, alerted me to The Great Library of Eruanna, located close to the south-western coast of the northern continent of Gaeta. Occupying a quarter of a Full region, this is an imaginative build by Amara Shino, forming both her private home and a place open to exploration by visitors and  light role-play is welcome." "The illustrious Chelsea hotel in NYC, many have heard of it. And legendary it was! Bob Dylan composed songs there and the poet Allen Ginsberg wrote there. But there are more famous names among the guests: Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Leonard Cohen, William S. Burroughs, Arthur Miller and Patti Smith. And, of course, Nico, my tragic heroine of all time. New York's Chelsea hotel may have been saved from ruin by being sold and pimped up, but it has now become an average luxury hotel that will no longer accommodate future artistic bohemians, if only because of its price. However, the Second Life version of Hotel Chelsea stayed true to the old atmosphere and ideals." Read more on the blog.

"This sim took 2 and a bit months to build. Every inch was meticulously placed with a vision to give you a sense of an ambient, breathing environment. Dain and I are super proud to invite you all to a very special place and we hope you enjoy your time here.... There is a photo contest running from 1st February until the 28th !" "I was somewhat surprised to learn, during my recent visit to the “What the Buzz” pollinator garden, that honeybees are the only type of bees that live in hives! Not only is this a beautiful and serene space to explore, but it also serves as an educational hub for all things pollinators. As I strolled through the garden, I observed beehives up close, and visited a market featuring bee-related products." Read more on the blog.

"Before Christmas I decided to treat myself to a mini break at the Poconos SKI Resort created by Highlife Destinations in Secondlife. I had such a great time which you will see for yourself as I went Snow Boarding, Paragliding, A hot stone massage and so much more. I seriously was tempted to extend my stay."
