"Hello! Yes I’m still here. Bit of an unplanned hiatus there as I tumbled down various SL rabbit holes. It’s good at that." Read more on the blog.
"I recently broke down and got the Audible app. While I do enjoy the soothing tone of certain voices reading to me, I know how to listen to a sample of the narrator to know whether or not I should listen to a book or actually read it." Read more on the blog.
"I’ve thought a lot about this concept lately…this idea that even the most positive change brings about some of the greatest challenges. I always knew it. I mean, when I got married…it was supposed to be the joyous celebration and yet the stress and anxiety of being married was horrendous." Read more on the blog.
"The last couple of posts in here have involved a lot of negativity that has gone on in my SL and my RL in the last year or so. To counterbalance that, i thought today would be nice to do a pretty picture of a pretty awesome Person – not me, the One with me. Lol." Read more on the blog.
"I have been thinking about this topic over the past few days, so I decided to write this blogpost to share some of my thoughts with you, my faithful blog readers." Read more on the blog.
"It’s 5am and my 74yr old mother is dancing through the house singing Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” I don’t even think she realizes what she’s singing, but she’s doing a well enough job that I recognize the song." Read more on the blog.
"Yesterday morning was very odd. You see, a few weeks ago a friend of mine was killed in a car accident, and the funeral was yesterday. Now, because of the new lockdown measures in England, I was unable to travel to the funeral. I was actually quite upset that I couldn’t go, but I knew I wasn’t the only one. The service was live streamed over the interweb, and the link was sent to me a few days beforehand." Read more on the blog.
"How do I measure what I put into this and what the output is? I feel this pressure from work all the time because you put so much into it and then you get little back, other than you could have done this or you forgot about that. It is never easy when you have done in your mind everything right but you get nothing back. Should we work with the thought of getting something back? Or should we just do it because we simply want to do it and it brings us joy?" Read more on the blog.
"...checking my social media and news media regularly to see what’s going on is doing nothing but increasing my anxiety and triggering my despair and depression. Enough." Read more on the blog.
"I can not remember a time in my life I was not under pressure. I am not going to give a list, all I need to say is that a few times I have told folk what I see as basic stuff and it has freaked them out. Even professionals have looked at me wide-eyed." Read more on the blog.
"I have a confession to make. This was meant to be a fall photo, but then I knew I was getting my first snow of this winter season today… Mind you, it was just a flurry, but I do love snow." Read more on the blog.
"There is something to be said about spending hours with someone and not making a sound, speaking a word, and yet, not feeling alone. That is how it is with my Claus. Creating a blog can take hours, even a full day. I am very quiet when concentrating on what I am doing, so it gets really quiet in our Discord channel. " Read more on the blog.
"The images I create take me a lot of time and work. They’re not miraculous or marvellous by any stretch of the imagination. They’re simply photos I create for these words, sometimes I am creative and other times I’m desperate for a photo that doesn’t look desperate." Read more on the blog.
"The transient nature of SL relationships and the intensity of the time able to be spent together in a short period of time in a virtual world like SL (especially now with so many people quarantined) means that people often feel like they’ve found “The One”… several times… and when it doesn’t work out, they simply find another “One”." Read more on the blog.
"October is nearing its end and winter approaches. Another season of isolation for many of us. Email and phone calls help, but I am missing people in my life. Our worlds are getting smaller." Read more on the blog.
"Mina has a FLF offer out for us and it is THE BEST BLOODIED hair I’ve come across." Read more on the blog.
"When it comes to the craft of magick you never want to lollygag around. Did you know: You certainly didn't want to be known as a lollygagger at the beginning of the 20th century. " Read more on the blog.
"This is always the time of year that i dread – the closer it inches to my dad’s birthday, the more in my feelings i get about it. It’s been seven years since he passed, and it still feels like it was just a couple months ago." Read more on the blog.
"The days are getting shorter -- and cooler -- for many of us. Time for sweaters and jackets and brisk mornings with hints of the dampness to come." Read more on the blog.
"As we grow older (and wiser hahaha), we come to realize that it is the little things in life that matter. We seek so much to increase our materialistic worth (money, house, job, etc) during the course of our lives, only to realize in the end that it means nothing. " Read more on the blog.
"I really have not felt much like blogging of late. I mean, I’ve wanted to take photos. I’ve wanted to decorate. But actually sitting down, writing about things, prepping a post, doing all the work involved in doing a good job, well…I have struggled to find that motivation. I have so much to say that I don’t feel I can talk about." Read more on the blog.
"Why do we feel the need to tear things, particularly others, down? Does it really stem from something as simple as jealousy? Does it really impact us if someone else is different? I’m speaking in generalities because there are so many issues, thoughts and worries swirling around the void inside my head. Think of this as something akin to a stream of consciousness, only more questionable than answerable." Read more on the blog.
"His name is Steven. And he will be the kindest, most charming angel and the brightest star. Steven was 36 years old. Steven was driving home from a friends house in the early hours of Sunday morning. He was alone in his car, and there were no other vehicles on the dark winding country road he was driving on, in the east of England. Somehow, Steven’s car left the road and hit a tree. Steven died at the scene of the accident." Read more on the blog.
"Famous queens as Hatshepsut, Tiye, Nefertiti, and Nefertari were powerful women who were not simply wives but who ran the pharaoh’s palace and exercised significant political power. Although pharaohs could marry many wives, only one was allowed to bear the title ‘Great Queen’. I am sure none of these women had to do many chores that I have neglected in these last few months of the C19. Weird that with being at home I have more time for a little housework than mousework, but it is not happening." Read more on the blog.
"Exactly a year ago, we first visited Nostalgia Falls, a Homestead region designed by Noisette Haller. At the time I noted the region was both photogenic and also the kind of place those who prefer Halloween themes that have a lighter touch might also enjoy. Given it is the first anniversary of that visit (and given the region has a new home), I decided to hop back and have a look around, and was both surprised and please to see that the region offers both a familiar look coupled with more than enough changes to give me a comfortable sense of recognition whilst also presenting a lot that is new and ready to be discovered."
