"Tuesday, March 8, 2022 is International Women’s Day (IWD). The theme for this year’s event is “Break the Bias – Celebrating women’s achievements, raising awareness against bias, and taking action for equality.” I can think of no better way to raise awareness and celebrate women’s achievements than through song. Therefore, I decided to host a music festival at my venue in the virtual world of Second Life. The festival will feature 13 female singer/songwriters performing as avatars. Yes, that’s right. They will be broadcasting LIVE from their homes around to the world, but will appear on my Second Life stage as avatars." Read more on the blog.

The Home and Garden Expo is one of the most popular running events in Second Life. Featuring volunteers from the One Billion Rising group, and choreography from Guerilla Burlesque, this year’s video is celebratory, inspirational and moving, and we had a lot of fun filming it.

"On Monday 14th February 2022 will mark the opening of the annual One Billion Rising event in Second Life. The event will feature a four region stage where over 200 people can come together to dance over the 24 hour period. There will be DJs and live performances through the duration and everyone is welcome to participate. There will be art installations, arenas for poetry, live music and much more."
