The whole exhibition is held in dark purple and violet tones. All the objects and semitranparent frames together with the light effects set by Adwehe provide an outstanding art experience." "Abyss Artful is one of Second Life’s foremost avatar photographers, with pieces so highly regarded they have been used in the promotion of events such as SL19B. Her work – available on Flickr – centres on sci-fi /cyberpunk and fantasy, although not necessarily exclusively so, and all of which are rich in narrative." Read more on the blog.
"Zia Branner’s art is mostly colourful. She paints abstract and fills the canvas with what just in her mind. She’s inspired by nature and landscapes and consequently her art often looks like landscapes or like flowers. Hence the boarders between abstract and real life paintings are blurring. And what is dominating lies in the eyes of the beholder." Read more on the blog.
"“Fulcrum” takes a turn for the unexpected by being horizontal rather than vertical. Most of the time, this irritates me, but not in this case. It works because really there is no reason we need to look at a dive from behind. I love the geometry in this picture, the balance of lines and angles." Read more on the blog.

"Art plays a critical role in the metaverse. The platform offers a unique opportunity for artists to break away from societal conventions and stigmas. It also frees them from traditional constraints, ranging from costs to the very laws of physics. So, it’ a natural venue for art galleries. Like the art they display so beautifully, many metaverse art galleries also tear down expectations by providing an experience that’s out of this world (at least, the physical world)." "Stevo Kozlowski shoots Second Life rugby. Who knew Second Life rugby looked this real? It’s changed a lot since Miffyhoi Rosca, Hatchy Mills, and I went to a stadium in 2007. I am blown away by these action shots." Read more on the blog.
"Second Life Endowment for The Arts opened January 1, 2021 and as many new projects unfold, SLEA has been finding its own “sea legs” and special niche amidst all of the existing SL Art Communities. The original proposal for the overall SLEA project back in 2020 included 2D representation but with the numerous, already established, successful 2D art galleries in existence along with the birth of many new galleries, SLEA made a conscious decision to go slow and deliberate concentrating more on 3D and fine tuning. It is now time to announce the Grand Opening of SLEA all new 2D “SKY GALLERIES”." Read more on the blog.
"Artsville is the name given to a new collaborative arts hub in Second Life, which opened over the weekend of June 24th through 26th with a trio of 2D art exhibitions. The hub is the work of Vally Lavender-Prodigy (Valium Lavender), who provides the space for the hub on her ValiumSL region; Frank Atisso, who has closed his own Art Korner to focus on curating Artsville, with the overall design and layout of the hub by Megan Prumier." "“Time in the Past” is the art installation created by Van Loopen for SL19B. 3D modeling and media are the elements that make up this tribute to Second Life’s birthday, which turns 19 this year. The question Van’s installation proposes to the visitor is: “what would the past be like if the future had happened earlier? “." Read more on the blog.
