"Etamae is in Second Life since January 2016. She’s from the UK and began transforming her pictures from the things she has seen and loved in Second Life into something else, in digital art in 2018. Etamae is not defined by just one style or area of art, she plays with different patterns and tries herself out in a broader spectrum of art. Like all other exhibition of Etamae “Fusion Evolution” at the DixMix Gallery is once again something new. Etamae proves her attitude to try out herself and to further develop her art." “This exhibit  presents a ballet in 10 to 12 frames, where the ballet is   developed  from original inception,  through recruiting,  getting in shape,  learning dance moves, becoming depressed and alcoholic,  a re-awakening of purpose, reflections on the meaning of life,  final  rehearsals and then finally a performance, and then aftermath.” Read more on the blog.

"If you shine a light into your subconscious, what do you imagine you’d see? Will it be clear images with easily relatable meanings attached – a clear roadmap definitively detailing what you know and believe? Or might the light shine upon overlapping images drawn from memory and incidents – along with a sense of half-submerged meanings, bobbing, sinking and then rising again – teasing you." "Wherever you are in SL and whomever you are – your experience is highly individual – it is yours alone. No one experiences this environment precisely as you do, and, of course, the same can be said of our presence in the physical world. Our perception is uniquely ours and ours alone. So how does one communicate that experience, share that experience? How does one reach out and share a vision of how we see this world?" Read more on the blog.

“A Thousand Words” is a collaborative Second Life photography project dedicated to expression through creative imagery. For our inaugural exhibition, Second Life residents created photographs inspired by renowned poet Pablo Neruda’s “Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair.” Read more on the blog.

"Grant Artist at Region 4, Jenna Dirval has created “Flyte” to reflect how dance gives “Flyte” to our heart and soul. Not only has she shared her creative backstory of the mythical inhabitants of her floating islands the “Flytarians” as part of her residency at SLEA but she will also be offering dance related workshops over the next several weeks. The workshops are designed to help new and more experienced choreographers / dancers learn how to build acts that are performed in an “In the Round” theater format." Read more on the blog.

"Four years is an amazing milestone to reach and I hope for more to come! I’ve been working on the set up for the new round of the GBTH x Rachel Breaker collective 3D exhibition and thinking what could I give to everyone that enjoys the work we do that would not only mark this anniversary but would actively help the Second Life community, based on prior conversations with other residents." "Melusina Parkin is, as I’ve oft noted, one of the foremost photographer-artists in Second Life. Her work is always rich in content, style and interpretation, always offering the most unique views of our virtual world through composition, angle and focus, here exhibitions carefully crafted around a given theme. This is once again the case with her latest exhibition Ordinary People, which has just opened across all three exhibition halls at Vibes Gallery, curated by Eviana Robbiani, presenting three dozen images captured from across Second Life that brings the uniqueness of candid photography to the platform in both images and subjects. As such, this is, among all of Melusina’s unique exhibitions, one of the most captivating." Read more on the blog.

"Nicholas Huntsman is the creator for a couple of stores, Lux Aeterna that is a home and garden and L & Co. Clothiers that feature vintage clothing from the 1920s and 30s. He has pretty standard vendor pictures, but he also has a series of delightful sendups of The Saturday Evening Post in the style of J. C. Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell;s mentor. Of course, Leyendecker and Rockwell never had such a model as Nicholas. He included a short story, a small excerpt will explain the picture." Read more on the blog.

"Owl Dragonash is a genuine tour de force in Second Life: she curates art, organises events and artists across various venues; she organises music events (and arranges musicians for exhibitions and the like); she provides PR support to galleries and groups; she has her own blog with a focus on music, art and places to visit, and she brings an incredible amount of energy, shining enthusiasm and dedication to all that she does."
