"Wow!  It’s hard to believe it’s been over a month since my last official blog post.  I won’t say the break wasn’t nice.  I had been moving along full steam ahead since the spring, so the breather was very nice…especially with all that’s been going on in real life.  It’s weird because a part of me feels like I have done nothing over the past what, 35 days, but there has actually been a lot going on in my world." "The Engine Room is back and larger than ever! With 100 designers and items inspired by Historical Fantasy . Or as I would say, the Future-That-Never-Was. That's right, all kinds of Punk styles are present, not just Steampunk, but Dieselpunk, Cyberpunk, Aetherpunk, Raypunk, and more.... Its a future as imagined from the past. And you find all the coolness at the Engine Room!" Read more on the blog.

"We’re about a week into November and unless you have been living under a rock somewhere (was it nice, did you make it like real cosy and stuff?) I don’t need to tell you that the political climate has been pretty hot lately. As for the actual climate, you can deny the existence of climate change till the cows come home, but when I look at average temperatures now, it is increasingly harder to deny that November is much milder than it used to be when I first arrived in Stockholm many moons ago." "I was banging on David’s bedroom door, shouting at him to get out of bed because he was going to miss the best part of the day. “The early bird catches the worm,” I told him. “I’m not a bird,” he muttered. “Go on, we’ll go shopping,” I offered. “Ha, the never have anything in my sizes anyway,” he responded. He is right of course, very few clothing creators have ever bothered with the NX-Nardcotix David mesh body, but there just happens to be a 50% sale on at Tori Torricelli this weekend, so at the very least it was worth checking out." "I haven’t been hugely active on my blog between the previous post for the NX-Nardcotix David mesh body and this post, so when I rezzed David to take him on a shopping trip, he was somewhat bemused as to why he was being woken from his slumber. I assured him that ample time had past and that it was going to be an easy ride this time anyway." Read more on the blog.

"There was a time my dress sense in real life was much bolder than it is these days. I’ll probably die in a pair of jeans and a comfy hoodie and I’m okay with that. I mean, eventually. I’m not quite ready for a house to land on me just yet. At some point my usual attire will be deemed unsuitable for a man of my age. Actually, at 44 it probably already is, but I don’t hold with such absurd notions. " Read more on the blog.

"For a brief period in real life I became quite the avid runner. I started gently by taking long walks straight after work. I was still living with my parents back then and had absolutely nothing in my way to prevent me from “stretching my legs” for a couple of hours every day. Then I gradually started building in short burst of jogging into the walk. As soon as I felt I could keep it going, I started driving straight home from work and running in the countryside where my parents still live today. At least four times a week, come rain or shine, I would run 5 or 10 km." Read more on the blog.

"Here’s another look at the Lelutka Alain head, which currently is a very generous Christmas group gift until December 26th. To avoid overloading their main store, Lelutka have put up some temporary locations where you can pick up the male and female gift head. Actually, I only picked up the male one myself and just went back to pick up the “Lilly” head, just in case I ever feel like putting together a female avatar." Read more on the blog.

"RIGHT! It’s time to inject some Christmas content into this blog. After a couple of fruitless tries with the usual “the sim is full” message, I finally managed to get to the current round of Fameshed. I expect things won’t be calming down so quickly at this event this time around, because there’s a bunch of gifts up for grabs and this understandably causes even more traffic than usual to this already popular event." "When it comes to always keeping up with the latest developments in Second Life, I will freely admit that I’m not the best blogger. I’m far from the first to mention that Lelutka have updated their existing “EVO” heads to “EVO X”. How lovely is that! Free updates for all! It had me a little bit worried though. When Lelutka updated the rigging for some of their existing heads a while ago, all the shapes I had made for these heads ended up looking wonky (good word!) and I had to edit them all. So now I wondered if perhaps the suggested skins for these shapes would be all over the place." Read more on the blog.
