"This week's color is a low saturated green tone. Nothing bright; nothing flashy -- just a calm reminder of our natural world.   I suspect that I have a fair amount of this color but found a great dress from last year (personally I use it as a long sweater over pants) that let me change scarf and belt to coordinate for an easy post. "Our color this week is in the mauve family but lighter.  My styling didn't quite hit the color mark this week but I so liked this retro dress from AnaMarkova I couldn't let it go. So call it Mulberry or Red Violet which is closer to its Pantone designation -- your choice." Read more on the blog.

"Firebrick.  That sounds familiar, doesn't it?  Nooooo. That was "Fired Brick". Oh my. So many color names.  The two have differences of course. This is a more normal red hue, not near brown at all. "This is my submission for the BVN Do Over Challenge. For about the past month, BVN has been doing weekly challenges, and I actually picked this theme. This is the first time participating, and I am happy Kess decided to extend it for another week. Anyway, the original image is from over three years ago, and it is the twelfth photo I had ever done.
