When I look at my profile, in world it doesn't say whether I am online or not why?

Why does my online profile not show, to me, whether I am online or offline?

Hi Gabrielle,

Profiles do not show the online/offline status of residents, to you or to anyone else. That capability only existed in third-party viewers and was removed years ago due to a privacy policy change.  You can only see the online status for people in your friends list who allow it (which is the default setting).

Scripts can still determine online/offline status (regardless of any settings), and your web dashboard friends list shows online/offline status (again only for those who allow it).

Firestorm still shows it when you use the non web version. But you can hide it for non friends, those will always see offline.

So, if that was working for you and no longer is, you may have a corrupted setting somewhere. A re-install might bring back the missing functionality.
