Our sim will have a new owner. Is it true that Linden Lab will derez everything on the sim?

The new owner said nothing would change for the renters on the sim but somebody told me that when the sale will be processed by Linden Lab, they will derez everything. We have a store with 500 vendors so we are very worry.

Assuming the new owner has not asked LL to move the region, then everything should carry on as normal.

if  the sim has items that belong personally to the simowner and the items sold with the sim are transfer nothing will happen, but if they are not... things might change as soon they want tolandscape and redecorate, because they can't edit, move or take up owned by a previous owner.

If the renters own the land, or are in a group that keeps the land, also nothing will change if the new onwer keeps that group.

It is the estate owner that changes, that doesnt have impact on the landowner.

 

always be sure LL knows what the purpose is with the transfer... there's rarely to much info in these circumstances.

Linden Lab won't de-rez anything.  But, depending on the settings of the land and the objects, some or all of them might be returned to their owners.

For example:  If the land changes owners, and autoreturn is enabled (or the new owner enables it) then objects that are not owned by the new sim owner will be sent to their owners' Lost and Found folders at the expiration of the autoreturn period.
