Maidens are NOT required to interact sexually with patrons, they may if they chose, but it is NEVER required. **Because it has come to my attention that some people seem to misconstrue the use of the words 'sir and miss' from Black Women to White Men, seeing them as derogatory instead of respectful, Maidens now have the additional option of using the words 'Mr. and Miss' when speaking to our clientele.**

2. BDSM Slave: A very open, sexually active role. Hired with the understanding that they are available for any type of sexual use by any AHGC VIP member at anytime (non-VIPs cannot use AHGC slaves). Refer to all men as 'Master' and all women as 'Mistress'.

- Both positions work for Tips and keep 100% of the earnings.

First, there is nothing asked of the black women that is disrespectful. Most of the women who reply to this notice will be ones already interested in white men. They are not being asked to be do anything at our club that you wouldn't be asked to do at a normal Gentlemen's club. Actually, less. because at a normal Gentlemen's Club you are required to strip, or even have sex. The only difference in our club from a normal one is that instead of white women working in most of the clubs positions, in this instance, there are black women. Instead of a hovel, as most of the White Men/Black women clubs are in SL, its a very expensive exclusive place. And, instead of it being Black Men and White Women (Black on Blonde as it is called) which is so darned prevalent in SL, it is for Black Women interested in White Men, and the reverse. That said, we did not originally have the slave position, it was requested by those who enjoy that type of thing in their SL. So, really, who are you to judge?

 

Btw, I'm a black female and I am proud of it. So, maybe come down and check us out, then complain?

Because maidens aren't slaves... They don't have sex unless they want to, as any adult does or doesn't. We aren't a brothel. The slaves who work at our club do call patrons Master and Mistress as slaves do at every other D/s club in SL. Which is the biggest area of individual interest in SL. Just because our women are black, does not mean they have interests different from the anyone else. We all have our kinks and its each individuals right to act them out. So, if a person wants to call someone Master or Mistress, or hell, be a full submissive, it doesn't change the rules of the roleplay just because they are Black Women and White Men.

 

As for your why not just have them refer to them as "Massah" comment. I would rather shoot your ass first. Don't take this where it doesn't belong just because the women are black. If they were white, you would NEVER have asked that... so, who is the one with the issue here?

 

And yes, I am black. I love being black. And I'm damned proud of it.

You're right. I wouldn't have asked that. Could it be because white women in the US weren't slaves until 148 years ago?

You know what? I think this argument is dumb. I think the fact that we ask someone, black or not, to say 'sir and miss', is not disrespecting anyone. I'm black and as a child, I was ALWAYS required to say 'yes sir, yes ma'am' to my elders, and I can damn well assure you my father and mother did not have me do so because they felt I was inferior to anybody else. It was a form of respect. And, I still use it when speaking to anyone a few generations above me, black or white or whatever. Also, I was in the military for 13 years and I was required to say 'yes sir and yes ma' am' and that was not because I'm black and it was not meant to be derogatory. But now, because I create a club were black women work for white men, and I have them say 'yes sir and yes miss' its derogatory? smh... It only is if your mind automatically goes THERE. And, I'm happy to say, mine does not. Use of those words is NOT meant to degrade the women in ANY WAY.

 

However, because you have brought to my attention that some peoples minds do automatically go to a derogatory place when Black Women use 'sir and miss' to White people, I am adding the option of allowing Maidens to say 'Mr.' and 'Ms.' if it will make the EMPLOYEE feel more comfortable.

I read all and to be honest I can not understand why others are having a problem with it. Im a Black woman from Afrika and not referring to an adult or elder as sir, madam, farther or mother depending on the relationship context is extremely offensive. LOL, if I went Upton a man or woman there and said hi buddy I think my ears would bleed from the torrent of abuse. Any how I build and script so not my type of work, but am interested in others points of view.

American's in particular have a sensitivity toward reading a couple of the phrases used in this threads OP together.

Many things are done (in their own culture) to ease their sensitivities and guilt - as they rely on a guilt-based mindset for population control. It can be uncomfortable for many to realise that these standards are not universal or useful.

What many of these blindfolded people don't understand is that the world is not focussed on US history, or the mistakes made by any specific population or government. Many also don't appreciate that anyone can find enjoyment in either risque, taboo or simply roleplayed environments that don't promote the modern trend toward personal agency and informality.

In my opinion the latter of these two types of people is just as bad as the things some people have accused others of in this thread.

Good luck to the OP, I have a feeling they'll encounter this issue again.

I think the confusion comes from the word Slave. It doesn't really indicate it's a Slave of the BDSM type. Especially if your not familiar with this type of fedish. Since it was pointed out that that is indeed the case I'ts more understandable.

This is not directed at anyone. I have thought long and hard about the phrase political correctness. The idea is an honorable one, but the truth is it is false in reality. All it does is hide the truth that most of the human race still think in tribal context and that has nothing to do with color. 

Every country has a dark past or even a dark now. In my country of Kenya different tribes still fight at election calling each other racial names, accusing each other of cheating. I have been all over the world and I see no difference in peoples attitude to strangers. Some are unintelligent, others very, but still have that attitude. We all have our racist thoughts, even minor ones. The crime rate goes up, we all know why, it those outsiders, jobs are being all taken by those xxxxx, etc, etc.

I f you trully can say you are  neutral, then you a far better human than i.

As for slavery, iti s on a scale now that is unprecedented in human history and that is worldwide, even USA.

In my culture we rember the past but do not keep digging up old bones. LOL, Well that untill an argument.
