I just logged in using the latest SL viewer (Oct 9, 2013) and wish to rezize my SL window. In the Advanced drop down menu I see a further drop down for "resize window" but no advice on which is appropriate for my system. I chose one and naturally it crashed. Any advice?

My system is a 27-inch iMac running 10.6.8 which easily handled SL in full screen mode until now...

I'm guessing you did a search on threads about monitor size and found this; it was really just kind of a survey thread. Since you're using the official SL viewer you can probably get a faster and possibly more knowledgable response by asking your question in the Second Life Viewer forum, which can be found here.
