WASD wont work!! Any Advice!?!

         No matter the viewer, i can't get my WASD keys to move my Avi. I tried the easy stuff, i.e. chat window., num lock, a clean HD, Viewers 1 & 2, alot of render and preference. My PC is good and has always preformed well on any client before?? It's killin me.....Killin me.  Help  me!!! I'll take any advice.

I guess the first question to ask, can you move your avatar at all by using the arrow keys and/or the movement hud?  If its just the WASD giving you a problem, you might double check the Preferenes-General setting for pressing letter keys and make sure its set for movement.  This is a Viewer 2 setting so you need to use Viewer 2 to check it.  If that doesn't solve the problem, try getting rid of your settings.xml file as well as your keyboard mapping file if you have one.  The wiki article linked below will tell you where to find them depending on your OS.

On Firestorm, go to preferences > chat and set  "Pressing letter keys" to "Affects Movement (ie WASD) as well as any of the options you want to use on Preferences > Move & View.

In firestorm, in general preferences, there is a radio button to check for wasd movment it is on the right side of preferences.

Had like problem: A and W would not move avi when AWSD chosen to move avi. Deleted settings.xml, started firestorm, edited settings in preferences and everything works now. Thank you.

Thanks! I had to delete directories and restart Firestorm. This really helped a noob!
