Looking for staff (This is a single gig event) for a Garden Tea Rez Day Party I will be hosting on June 14. Event will be from 7PM SLT to 9PM SLT time. Need a harpist: You will sit at the harp as it plays. This is really an ambience gig and requires no typing, talking or any interaction with the guests. Just need a warm body - You can be AFK for the duration of the event. I will pay $500L for this gig. You will need to have a garden tea outfit - suit for men or floral dress for women. Need 2 waiters who can roleplay a high end dining experience: Prefer someone who can voice as there will be 18 guests and 2 staff. Preferably someone with experience but won't look past someone with little to none. Must have a white shirt, black slacks and black shoes. Definite plus if you have a serving tray that you can use. So grateful to the people of Belli who reignited my love of having a place in Second Life instead of just setting a sandbox to home. I absolutely enjoy being on ground level and there is something really nice about seeing all the activity - cars passing by, avis walking about and etc. Both of my mainland homes are roadside (Route 8 & 9A) I have from time to time IM'd landowners about their orbs TPing back to home (when I fly or drive) and have asked if they might consider changing it to a 10 second warning and honestly most people are pretty friendly and understanding. Also I let them know it is their land and they can do as they wish.

I forgot to post a picture from the last night's game night (did it on Monday instead because I mixed up my days). We ended up playing Greedy in the hot tub but I'll be scouring for more fun group games like Forbidden Words... if you stumble upon any fun PG activities that would be great as a group please let me know!

Going further down the rabbit's hole of mainland ownership Found an abandoned parcel while driving down Route 8 and loved the hills, and water view on both sides. Immediately submitted a ticket and a day later I bought it from LL. I wanted to make sure only the house was on flat ground so elevated everything and then landscaped down (gotta have that retaining wall HAHA) The lighthouse is actually on a microparcel (not owned by me) but love how it's right behind the house. I started hosting game nights at my SL home (usually on Tuesday at 7pm SLT) as a way to create a chill, friendly environment for people to meet other people (that's what it's all about right!?) Each game night group is never more than 10-12 people which allows socially anxious folks who would get overwhelmed in a large gathering to socialize as well as enough people for the extroverts. Sometimes we might just start a conversation around Mad Pea's social cards or play some Greedy in the hot tub - but by the end of the night we are chatting up a storm.
