JUST SAW A HOUSE!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Congrats on Axim! Watch for a trickle of houses coming up (not like a release) before the main release, (hard to explain what I mean ...like a house every three refreshes for about a min or two and then a stream of release houses) - just a little something I am wondering about!! I am waiting for my favourite of all time houseboats from the early release to drop theirs - one can dream!!

I don't really understand what happened in that situation at all but perhaps we should all get back to - when was the last time anyone saw a Bellissarian home? Because I've not seen any kind of home since the release tailed off Friday and it's depressing me because "Bellisseria" in the drop down kind of becomes associated with the word "Bliss".........................where ARE the homes?!!!

😁 For me a place has to offer everything I have currently and more than that. The upcoming releases are all beautiful but for me not something I am looking for. I am doing the abandon hop for another week then I might retire!!

Thanks - I am a hopper with only one home. One owner, one seeker and probaby not a seeker for much longer. More of a spotter right now. Anyone who had a convo with me privately about the homes I had knows I am quite open about it and also - quite honest - to many people's frustration! But lots of tricksters, passive aggression and coercion I encountered and it made me a little sad because lots of people on this thread seem to be coming from a good place. I gave publicly two houseboats and a home back now (the rest quietly at random) and it does not surprise me they didn't touch it yet I see a lot of homes not truly decorated or lived in set to very young profiles and sometimes set to land estate rental groups which does spark curiosity!! Best thing to do to get a home at the moment might be stick to that original schedule of weekday refreshes - I wish you luck!!

It's all just wondering really! I have not seen your boat nor anyone else's this weekend though - only THEY know! That's the fun of it! Would make it super awkward I agree but still - trying to please everyone is super awkward job!!

I wonder if maybe "24/7 abandons" will become "just before a release abandons". Plenty of houses I refreshed through on Friday just before Friday release but then - quiet - at least for me in my time zone and I'm just spotting atm. It would seem the fairest way to stop myself and fellow hoppers hopping - LL are doing this fairly and working quickly to meet the demand - building sympathetically to what people are looking for - but with so much speculation the easy thing to redress balance may be to do the above. Guess work on my end again - time will tell. 😁

I was refreshing for fun just now over lunch and saw two (possibly this one above!) traditionals come up. Took about six page refreshes each for them to disappear from the menu. Longer than normal put it that way perhaps 30 seconds. ...and more at 2pm UK time - 10 seconds each to disappear

I bet that is happening. Someone always finds a way to exploit the system. When all most of us want is a home to call our own - hopper or not

If they are getting in demand plots they can trade their abandon information (time they press the abandon button) Even though no one knows when or why houses go back into the land page some people are pretty intent on grabbing the plots and will do what they can to obtain a better chance even when it's pie in the sky - no one knows. It's totally wrong practice but I know it's happening - identifying demand and selling a hope. But then people do seem to feel that a plot becomes immediately available after abandon - is that true? which was the debate of this thread to start with I think....

Aurelia taught me that we are all competing against some pretty serious, silent players as well - far from forum eyes but lurking all the same. There are some really focused groups of people probably with several dozen alts each and many machines running at the same time. Those people are perhaps on an entirely bigger scale than us with the hopping bug!

People with alts are in the click draw same as everyone and if they don't click fast enough they don't get a home. It's possible to improve how quickly you navigate the page and it's possible to develop a method for guessing regions but it's still all guessing. And clicking and speed of your connection for the receipt to go through etc Also purpose of an alt for me personally was to have one home owner and one seeker (only one home at a time) so there were a lot of abandons. I'm incredibly happy with my boat now and it's last week of my alt and she's homeless about to get a downgrade. It's similar for anyone else who wanted to really see what was out there in Bellisseria. The land page might change its navigation structure and then this would throw people I'm sure - changing the UI / UX or suddenly without warning popping new home choices up on it - little changes like this would take everyone time to adjust because your eyes and brain and reflexes all atune to the current method - refresh, drop down, next, box, go! Clicking for homes at the moment is a pattern and success is a combination of mind, body, availability and Internet speed! Just my thoughts! *** also... Some have been very lucky to get a home in a location that is suited to them in their first attempt. Some of those early releases were uniquely located and I can see why you have never wanted to change that ***

If you are auto refreshing you are either going to be too late every time or very very lucky. Just spotted this in River Run pond....

Mix it up until you are happy with it - it has to fit you and how you live your SL life. I've had lots of plots and every different kind of house, boat, add on etc - also made my own - just to get it to how I feel comfortable. Tried not to annoy neighbours in the process - **** Its a great plot you got though!! P.S. we are doing our region predictions here and we seem to be on the money for now .... You can see all the new names on the sl maps page - it's the new island 😉 Pantelleria is a fab one!

Because we have fun catching and releasing and looking at all the locations that come up. 😊

Maybe the tactics are changing - I think it could be some of the new island next ... or maybe they are hiding bits from the map until they are ready!! I am not sure who can see what re: the map = I really recommend trying the boats out especially with all the boats coming up.

Congratulations Portholers! I was in Porthole that morning and posted a photo for our instagram account I think we might try region predictions! (very definitely only speculative guessworking for fun) Porthole very pretty - welcome neighbours!

Congrats the winner - enjoy it! - and everyone I spoke to who was interested - well, we tried! I pressed on 10.30 immediately (people all around the house!!) bit of a Walking Dead moment - so I teleported straight out! - enjoy the brilliant home!!
