KraftWork's weekend sales: these open/close, texture-change accordion blinds (2 LI each) in 4 sizes cost $75 for the set. The 4 LI niche bookshelf (decor items *not* included) costs $60.

Apple Fall doesn't participate in the weekend sales often, but this weekend they have something for you seamsters - this sewing machine is only 1 LI, $75 (or $68 if you wear an AF group tag). Table not included.

There are only about 70 brand new ones in the pipeline in 7 regions shared with log homes near to Rigamarole. That said, I've landed 4 Vics in the last week, and 3 the week before. There will be a short term glut most likely once the Modern homes are actually on the LP. However, there are *many* more stilt homes to come. See this thread:

There are still a couple of parcels to be claimed in Happy Hollow first, including this one between two bodies of water. (Although it looks like it had been claimed and abandoned within the last half hour.)

Dreamland Designs has 3 parts of its Traemore living room set on sale this weekend: the chairs (6 or 8 LI) and 8 LI potted olive tree (and I think the 3 LI curtain) are $99 (PG or A); the 9 LI sofa, with the coffee table, rug and decor items are $99 (PG or A); and the 10 LI fireplace and decor items are also $99.

If key parties are your thing, you can pick up this 2 LI texture-change key bowl at North Oak for $50. The 3 LI glass vase with branch is also available for $50.

This 2 LI Monk Bench, in all 3 wood tones, can be yours for only $50 at ChiMia - sits up to 2 avatars with 50 animations/poses. (Usual cost: $350.)

Weekend sales at Muniick are out. It's ridiculously late, so I'm not going to post a breakdown of the items. Entryway set is $60 and the shower (PG or A) is $50. (Oh, and the $25 pottery vases are still out.)

Snort. I promised myself that I wouldn't uproot to yet another Vic, after moving everything 3 times in the last 7 weeks. [insert eyeroll here] I've been playing GoH the last few days with my month-by-month-waiting-for-Moderns premium alt, and... To backtrack, there's only one former home I've continued to regret abandoning, and that is the Vic I had on the river in Century. Well, it didn't magically return to me, but I'm now in possession of the house 3 doors down! Across the road from a fountain that I can see and hear from a Doyle, and actually backing directly onto the river, and able to see it! I'll miss the masses of hydrangeas in front of the water park house, and the duck noises, but this new one makes me happy. When I'm ready to abandon the water park house, I'll announce it in the other thread and/or set up a time with anyone who's particularly interested.

I used to have a beagle pup that barked and howled occasionally - I only discovered a couple of weeks later that I could still hear him when walking down the road a fair bit so, yes, I think it's quite possible that your neighbors will be able to hear them unless they or you restrict sound to their/your own parcel. I do keep my bird sounds on, as they are less repetitive.

Among the newer Log home regions, Bearadise (as mentioned a few days ago) and now Happy Hollow have parcels with 'Linden Home' status, but there are still at least 3 unclaimed parcels in Naughty Pine, so the others might wait a while before release.

Reviving an older thread to mention one thing that I should have before - Christmas or no Christmas, WHY IS THERE NO AMBIENT BIRD SOUND IN THE TRAD REGIONS? In my own region (Innside) there is no bird sound other than what I supply myself. I've been walking around 4 other trad regions today with an alt and not a peep to be heard. All I can hear is the occasional footstep, and the waterfall in Pratt Falls. Plenty of ambient sound in other region themes.

Another trad in Capitol Springs has just gone back into the pool (from Belli Cit).

Well, that Willow trad is still available, so I'll add my Peachtree trad in as well now. Trad in Willow Heights has gone back in the pool (from Belli Cit) - still available, view of Fairgrounds out back. Stilt on water in Pennywise has also been abandoned just now. Actually, she got that wrong - it's classified as a stilt on land, but it overhangs the water. Still classed as Linden home.

Doesn't appear to be much interest in trads as one in Willow has been on the LP for almost 30 minutes, so I'm going to abandon this one in Peachtree now as well. Trads are rare these days, so if anyone would like a shot at this one in Peachtree, let me know and we can set up a release time for sometime today that works for both of us.

He also has another prime spot in Birchbark (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Birchbark/206/170/51), as my alt discovered last night after landing a great on-water cabin there. (Still not as private as the one I have elsewhere so, with or without celebrity neighbor, I would be abandoning it.)

Well, that was odd - SL wouldn't let me abandon it. My alt was standing in the Patchett Vic, but all the parcel info was for someone/somewhere else. Only saw the correct info after closing and re-opening the Land > Parcel window 4 times. Anyway, it's on the LP now, along with a Houseboat. I'll be releasing this Vic on Patchett at 9am SLT
