  1. There's lots on sale again this weekend at LouChara, but most is rather too high LI for Belli houses. However, worth checking out: the oveseat-sized 9 LI Santa Fe sofa, PG $99. The two endtables with linked decor (4/6LI) cost $65 for the pair. The 5 LI armchair is PG, $77.
  2. This bathroom set (the unpronounceable Donwda Bathroom) from Your Dreams (where you can rezz a demo) is currently on sale for $70, in the Marketplace only. Overall, it's very high LI (sink unit with linked decor is 22 LI, shower unit with all decor is 24 LI) but the entire bath tub with the wall behind and all linked decor is only 9 LI (PG and A included), toilet 3 LI, paper roll/holder 1 LI, mirror 1 LI, rug with slippers 2 LI. The 1 LI lighting sconce is non-working 😒.
  3. Still on sale for only $100 per cement color:
  4. Well, in that particular instance it’s because ‘sport’ is being used as an adjective, like ‘political’ or ‘local’. But, yes, it is also used as a noun in the sense of multiple sports. “Nigel likes his sport.” - meaning Nigel spends entirely too much time down the pub watching rugby, the footie and F1 with his mates. However, the usage is inconsistent - every year the BBC has an awards show for “BBC Sports Personality of the Year”. (Though I have at least one acquaintance who tut-tuts every time he hears that phrase, or me referring to math
)
  5. Some of you may have twigged by now that I like my birds, and Tartesso Arts has a cute birdhouse in the weekend sales for $60. As sold, it's 4 LI, with 5 options for the the metal can, an animated bird and on/off birdsong (which is more repetitive than random). However, if you don't like the branch (not the most sensible way of keeping a birdhouse away from cats), you can unlink and remove it (though that will remove the birdsong) and after relinking the bird and birdhouse, you'll save 2 LI and the bird will still be animated. (Just be sure to change to the design you want before unlinking!)
  6. It comes in at 15 LI, but if you're looking for a statement piece and this chaise from Oubliette is your style, be sure to grab it while it's only $66! PG single and couples animations.
  7. Checking out the new view from Starboard Lights (with graphics maxed out), just waiting for some boats to appear... I had a mosey along 3 regions of seabed and was disappointed to see that it's essentially featureless. I did find a small rift in Castle Harbour, let myself fall into it and was hoping to discover a portal, or at least a pissed off Moray eel... but nada 😒
  8. If you're looking to give your garden a less manicured appearance, take a look at Love's Hedgerow Nettles and Buttercups set, $50. A grass patch is also included. The buttercups don't show up well at a medium distance and the small patch is 2 LI. Everything else - several different groupings of nettles - is 1 LI, and can be linked to save 1 LI. Word of warning, though - the nettles are unpacked as a grouping of all of them, so if you don't have 15 LI to spare on your parcel, best to unpack them in a sandbox and just take each piece back into your inventory. (They're all labelled by 'group' and whether they're variegated or dark green.) The fence is a free gift (click on the packages shown in the photo). The Manor Ivy pack is also $50, and the Victorian wall used in the demo is a free gift. Also on sale for $50 is a7 LI outdoor fireplace (includes the log stores on either side), and a set of 1 LI topiary pots. Oops - there's more: an 11 LI Victorian green house for $50, and a Lavinia Creeper vine set for $50.
  9. Atelier Burgundy is selling these fence sets for $100 per shade of concrete (light/medium/dark).
  10. What was I just saying about that carved-frame sofa...? If you missed Petite Mort's lively Frida version when it was on sale back in January, you're in luck because not only is it on sale again, but the price is now even lower - $75, 14 LI, PG. The other bits and pieces of the set are also on sale for $60 as shown on the boards (except the potted plants don't include the furniture). Also on sale is this office collection - the chair is only 2 LI and together with the 3 LI desk and 2 LI wastebasket costs $99. A set of two 2 LI monstera plants costs $60; the set of 1 LI wall hangings costs $60; desk clutter is $60; the 4 LI petal lamp is $60.
  11. On sale at Bricolage: the 14 LI sofa, 6 LI chair, pair of 2 LI framed artworks and 3 LI coffee table are $75 each (PG or A); the decor items are $60 each.
  12. There's lots on sale at LouChara this weekend, but I think the best of the bunch is this rather lush sofa: 12 LI, PG $99. Also, variations of this carved-frame sofa have been popping up all over the place - LouChara's version is 14 LI PG $99. The 2 items of wall art and the screen (linked in the demo at 8 LI) are $88, and the end table with plant (3 or 4 LI?) is $68. I bought the artwork* and screen - each framed piece is 2 LI, but they can be linked to save 1 LI. The screen itself is 8 LI. (*Just what I've been looking for to fill an empty corner in my Shion!)
  13. Sway's has some window blinds on sale: 2 or 4 LI, 4 patterns in each set (floral or striped), 3 positions. $50 per set.
  14. Note that the 3 LI (working) chandelier is a free gift.
  15. I missed Florence Pugh - this has emboldened me to dress my avatars accordingly with non-Senra spaghetti-strap pieces I love that just don't fit! I think these women have done us a big favor!
  16. This comment doesn't really fit anywhere, but... does anyone else think Emily Blunt's Oscars dress looks like a Senra Jamie body wearing a Maitreya outfit? (Love her, by the way, but can't figure out what's going on with that dress...)
  17. Despite the poor LODs on the cabinets in the display model (that latticework is only in the new version, an older version is included) this kitchen set from Your Dreams is worth looking at for $75 if you're willing and able to tinker with unlinking parts. The second photo shows items/linked pieces that are only 1 LI each (including the shelving unit). Each unit shown in the 3rd photo is 17 LI. The 4th photo shows some more 1 LI pieces (the apples as provided are way too large, and reduce from 4 to 1 LI when resized). PS: It's easy to tint the canisters any color your want.
  18. More musical instruments for the weekend - this time from Fancy Decor! The spinet/harpsichord is 7 LI plus 2 LI for the stool - plays 4 pieces, with adjustable volume, has a lovely animation (also one where you can take a bow after your performance) and comes in 7 different colors, $75 per color. Also on sale is this 3 LI Kombucha tray, $100.
  19. There are too many sets on sale at Black.Sand this weekend to detail, and many of the pieces are too high LI for most of us in Belli houses, but you can use bits and pieces of the decor. The drumming set ($60) is fun, though the animated hands really ought to be lower. The Dreambed with 'erotic anime' pillows is 14 LI, the one without is 11 LI. Either is $60, PG or A. The Giovanna closet set is $75. The Gautama office set (which has poor LODs for some of the decor items) is $75 (includes PG and A). The Re'Uly chair and chaise set is $100 for PG or A. The Forty-Seven set includes the black chair, white chair and the 'exclusive' wine-colored chair and their associated decor items, PG and A included, all for $90.
  20. At the other end of the LI scale - if you're a Burberry's fan, this 7 LI A bed is on sale at Wrong for $90. (The brown/black leather headboard is included in that 7 LI, but the round sidetable is an additional 1 LI.)
  21. You can pick up this 4 LI shelf unit at Pitaya for the sale price of $60 per color. For those of you with generous LI budgets, this 26 LI canopy bed is on sale for $75 per colorway (warm/cold/fresh) PG, or $90 per colorway A.
  22. At Oubliette: the 3 LI PG single-sit petal chairs are on sale for $99, black or purple.
  23. Trompe Superfans sale item - $50 with group tag.
