  1. Alright To get a consistent look, all of my AI images are based on a headshot of my avatar: Gencraft has tech that is similar to ControlNet Canny for Stable Diffusion that will take elements of the source image and use it in the generated results. For the ""bad hair day picture", it generated this from my headshot: From there, I cleaned it up and then expanded it in Photoshop: Then I rotated and filtered the final image a bit to make it more visually interesting.
  2. Neither - it is Gencraft and also Photoshop's Firefly AI.
  3. I would recommend Jake or Legacy as well. Also, I have heard good things about the Anatomy body, but have not tried it myself. It is starting to get clothing support but Jake and Legacy have the widest support now (avoid Signature Gianni or Davis).
  4. It is free if you use the integrated "take photo" option. If you want to use a texture you uploaded, then you obviously had to pay to upload the texture prior to using it. I took snapshots of each item directly.
  5. I have not seen much mention of this, but a feature that was just added along side the inventory image preview feature makes it even more useful. When you select Open in New Window on an inventory folder, the window that opens is different than the one you get when you select Show In New Window (I have no idea why there are two similarly named options). The view you get will show thumbnails of any items in the folder that have a preview image attached, along with any textures in the folder. For example, I took images of each of the items that I just bought from Apple Fall. When I open the folder in a new window, I see all of the items at a glance. It even works with links in folders, so if you open an outfit folder in a new window, everything in that outfit that has a preview image will be shown, even though they are all links. Huge improvement. Now we just need tags Outfit folder:
  6. Why do creators insist on giving a folder with a demo item in it that then has to be attached to get yet another folder containing the actual demo? It is so counter productive and just seems lazy. I am always pleasantly surprised when I discover a creator who does it correctly (shout out to Mazzaro and Alexandrite) because that is not the norm by far. I don't get it. I can understand having a hud for delivery when you buy the product, but even then it seems an unnecessary step when buying the item could just give the folder with the actual item. There are some exceptions to that of course (for example, Hoorenbeek's huds let you pick which body to receive the folder for, which is a nice touch), but most huds just give you the folder anyway and that's it. We get used to having to do this, but I always wonder why so few creators actually give you the folder directly.
