My somewhat spartan (in comparison to others) Winchester is now fully decorated. Haven't been able to be in SL for, well, months, and I'm not sure how long I'll keep up a premium sub, but for now my house is open to anyone who wants to visit: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Walrus Beach/88/112/33
@Alumna Cornell, love the creativity of setting up a gallery within your home. I may "steal" your idea of movie posters! What a fun way to decorate! That view of the harbor with houseboats is so real looking from your kitchen window. Wonderful job decorating your house!

Thank you, Nika! I just popped over for the fireflies and stayed to see your lovely cabin - such a restful spot by the lake.

Front Doors Suggestions:
- Add more color selections to the front door choices?
- Provide the color codes for those shades of red, blue, etc. to color window boxes or flower pots to match.
- Add one door where we can add our custom colors like on the Victorian and cabin walls.

Squeals! Grabs her purse and heads to Lisp...just in case I "need" a few more colors. There are white panels in that package and the white wall panel in the fireplace rezzer set. Takes a deep breath...the white can be tinted just fine

Two weekends ago, my alt sister plucked out a houseboat. So far, a houseboat just hasn't worked for me. The site was off, the neighborhood was crowded, and the views just weren't pretty. Now way off in Pier Pressure, we lucked into a square mooring on the end of a tiny grouping of houseboats facing open water and a few boats across the bay. Well, I went back and looked over the notes from the forum for houseboat decorating. Pulled out all my "what next" and went shopping - especially for a new boat, the Bandit 170 at uber. I've driven over the water from Pier Pressure all the way to Gingham Point and Tilting Meadows. Thank you to whomever dropped this house boat back into the pool!

Adds my "yes, please" to internal paint/wallpaper shell for the Overlook.

Releasing a Deer Pass Traditional parcel that backs to the smaller river tributary which empties into the larger water in the area. If someone is looking for a lovely site for a Traditional, I'll be releasing 6:45 pm SLT. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Deer Pass/146/20/38

My last sister alt picked this log home up in Fairpeace over the weekend. Just floored since the miracle of rotating Grand View gave this view from the windows and front deck looking right at a mountain range in SSPE1184. Set back from the road with a sequoia tree just past the mailbox. I could sit on the deck and watch the sun move from east to west over the scenery. Sighs....

On East Bellisseria, I found a replica of the real-world Devil's Tower monument. At its top, there's a little nod to the "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind" movie, which should be understood by anyone who's seen it.
Location: The four corners of Porridge Pot, Whistlers Well, Birch Hill, and Soft Meadow regions.
Thank you SarahKB7 Koskinen! Enjoyed meeting with you and ʀᴀʜʙɪᴛ ᴘᴜss ᴘᴜss™ (devinknights84) up on the Devil's Tower. Sarah provided an impromptu concert. (Can you tell I was so excited I forgot to push up my graphics setting?!)

I just picked up a Whitehall parcel, right on the edge of the Linden sea as my backyard. There are still quite a few homes not claimed. I wonder if people have abandoned if they see the red text floating in the air? Just a reminder all you have to do, click on About Land - Objects - Owned by Others - Return. Wait a minute or two and select a different log home. Red text vanishes.

Even though Bellessaria has more rez zones this spring, this is good to know how just to push your boat into the nearest ocean, lake, river, or pond!

You can chase a given parcel, and if it's part of a clone build, chase it over and over in LogLand. But with the abandons and continuously releasing regions, it is SO unlikely that you will score a particular parcel that you desire.
But sometimes a parcel chooses YOU.
After releasing my nice watery parcel this morning, I was looking forward to a long few days of hopping while looking for something unique to LogLand. I only had time for one roll of the dice this morning, tho, so I took a deep breath and slowly chose my moment. I really did! And got this. Mashed potatoes and all.
Close Encounters in the back yard! It looks far away because it's so HUGE (108m tall). The view from the top is unbelievable. We sure were not looking for this. The moles did a really great job, btw, scraggly pine forest around it and all. Here's the original.
We weren't looking for it. I think we have to look to Roy Neary, tho, for advice on what you do when it comes looking for YOU.
That's a gorgeous parcel!

My fishing camp in Pirouette next to a lake. Front porch with a Jon boat waiting for early morning fishing. Back deck and screened porch for cooking, drinking and being lazy. I spent many days with my Dad learning how to put crickets on a hook, drive boats with an Evinrude motor, and scaling fish for supper off the back porch. He made sure at least one of his daughters knew her way around the river and lakes in southern Arkansas. Thanks, Dad for teaching me how to be a River Rat.

First now that I finish the bedroom in the Verne I got the first week of the Victorian release. The bedroom is in the turret.
The curtains are from LAQ. They have a rod that can't be removed. But I could select face, and turned the rod 100 % transparent.* It is then possible to use a wood top as I did here. It is just editing of prims that can be set to convex hull, or joined in Blender. The windows on each side have only 1 side of the curtain. Since the Laq curtains is 2 parts, they can be manipulated like this.
The wardrobe is angled in a corner and I could use a trim that I have edited off one wall set I bought for Victorians. The wardrobe doors is edited off a Roost house. I do not have a script in them, they are for decoration only.
*Also set the shadow behind the curtains to transparent, since the shadow show the rod.
Marianne Little, you are brilliant! Making the LAQ window rod transparent is genius. I have been wrestling with those darn rods for weeks. Thank you for the decorating ideas!!!

Picked this cabin on Traderest. It's located on the far east of the region and backs up to SSPE1136. The back view can kinda take your breath away and leaves one wondering what are the plans for these far regions that border the ocean cliffs. Now to keep or let free? The chimney rock stands just above the ocean cliffs SSPE1135. More cabins or parkland in the future?
Front facing a rocky outcrop hill with the cabin dropped down under it next to a quiet road.
Backyard view!

I added sounds to all my parcels, depending on their location. Check your inventory since I just dropped a package your way. For others, looking for the same thing, try this box of sounds for $1 L. Just rez a flower and enjoy the nature sounds or wave sounds. Big thank you to the creator Antreas Alter
