SO lovely!  You have all the essentials of a great life:  warmth, coffee and books!  I love that insert wall (I think it is) between the coffee/sitting area and the bedroom.  Gorgeous!

Thank you!  The wall was created by the lovely Chloe Dolores and is listed on the Marketplace.

  2. Finally settling into my camper for the crisp days and cool nights of fall. Time for sleeping outside, drinking coffee by the fire and reading books by the wood stove. It does help to turn that summer porch into a 4-season room with glass windows, brick stone walls, and a couple of window shelves.

More stuff to consider for the stilt (or beachy trad) houses is on sale at Kazza for Happy Weekend! Everything in the photos is included for each of the 2 lots.

Bringing up the thread so we have all the information in one.

Friday July 10th: Fifty Linden Friday. The best, is that if you do not need to close the curtains, but use the Linden home blinds, you can get the 3 Li large ones down to 2 Li. Unlink the "closed curtain" part. You see it when you have the curtains open and "highlight transparent". Unlink this part and voila, 2 Li curtains. They fit a double Traditional window and are still 2 Li. Raise the curtain so the rod is over the window, select the curtains and stretch them down. I have not tested the other houses.

Thank you, Marianne! You give us such great ideas and resources for our homes.

I scored this lovely abandoned houseboat a week or so ago and have been having a fun time decorating it. It has gorgeous sunset views and there are no neighbors either side, just some behind me which suits me just fine. I don't think I will be able to give it up even for the new beach homes...

Also, starter homes? You will have to evict me to make me leave. 🤣

Just gorgeous! Would you mind sharing the designer of the swimming pool set?

  6. Picked this abandoned Camper up just to see where it was located....in Twofer nicely sitting on a spit of beach sand surrounded with streams leading out to houseboats and open water. Since we have to probably wait until Sept/Oct for the stilt homes, here is what I started by playing with the Colorado model which has quite an assortment of beachy colors built in. Shout out to @Elena Core for her Colorado camper design which gave me the idea to play around with this model. I haven't even started decorating yet - just having fun changing the colors!

Letting this Victorian in Queens Arch go at 9:30 SLT today. Pretty and private home with small lake water on the side, land rez zone just behind it. Front is one of three homes on a cul-de-sac. Roses are planted by the front brick wall.

Camper and Victorian still sitting on the page....odd now just a Camper but this parcel is still in Maintenance. Hopefully, someone will push it out. Hurrah! The house has a new owner!

  8. Hmmm, maybe I've been watching way too many episodes of Beachhunt Bargain Hunt on HGTV...but that kinda looks like a balcony with a sliding door and curtain with a matching sliding door on the first floor. "Oh, look, honey, here is a balcony for my morning coffee time and there is a slider door right to your dock and boat."

With the prims I had left I was able to add a little backyard area! I made this little pagola add on for my doyle and made a little fire pit chill space. I let go off the wrap around extension bc of the prims but I think I'm good with the front now & everything :D ( I hope now to find some trees that match well to add to the side of the yards ^^)

So pretty! Just love finding all those little details here and there.

Thank you, Eleanor! I couldn't find it in my inventory or notifications, but I've just gone to the MP to buy it and had a quick listen. I'd love to use the one with seagulls, but don't see any instructions for lowering the volume (my house is a bit away from the water, so ideally I'd like to hear my birdsong in the foreground with the waves and gulls in the background). Do you know if this is possible? If you haven't done this yourself, I'll contact the pack's creator.

Try different places on your parcel. I usually put the nature sounds closer to the house, then add the ocean one closer to parcel's edge - like it is coming in from the water. Sometimes I put a nature sound by the front porch and add the water one on the other side.  It just depends if you are creating outdoor areas to sit and entertain yourself.  If you end up near a lake or river, I'm really enjoying this Lake sound orb which is the more gentle sound of waves slapping up against the land. This one allows you to change the volume of the water sounds. It is a transparent orb so I do tuck that one into a flowerpot just so I don't lose it.

If anyone would like to listen to the lake sounds, you are welcome to head to my camp. Just find a camp chair and sit a spell.
