Not the kind of very private parcel I tend to seek out, but this Victorian is leading me to abandon the one I've already fully decorated because its front faces a formal water park unlike any I've seen before and it backs onto a large pond/small lake. Neither body of water is really visible from within a Doyle, but I can hear the water and the occasional duck.

Okay, I did some research on these mushrooms, bought the glowy ones (bottom right) and took them to a sandbox.  Though they are tiny-tiny right out of the box, they stretch really well.  Here is a photo of the glowy group, each at the top of their 1LI range.  For context, this avvie is 6.25 feet tall.  So, all in all, I may buy more!

Thank you, I caved pretty fast and just picked up the fatpack....knowing whatever fantasy mushrooms buried in my inventory are no doubt sculpties.

  4. I vote also for the bungalows - maybe even styled after the Sears Craftsmen homes. Sears and other companies also did two story homes for the rural farmhouse. Stained glass windows with arches? That would be a cool touch especially if we could change the glass colors. Bungalows would be the closest to having a city look without building brownstones wall-to-wall. Need a trolley line running down the main streets:)

Here is a Pinterest collection I found that includes original ad and floor plans for that era.

  5. You know sometimes you just roll a house that speaks to you. This is mine. I started out in Victorian Caledon way back in the day so still have that special feeling from that time. I had an earlier Victorian for almost a year but had one of those moments and decided to make a move. This is now my home sitting on a sandy point on the coast. I'm still changing up the decor and fussing with the garden even after almost six months. Thank you again to whoever abandoned this lovely place.

  6. If you search for Brady Stream and hit the teleport button, you end up wishing you were wearing a scuba suit.

The bird's eye view from above shows the tunnel running from Windsurfers Solitude to Brady Stream...south to north. If you are at the center windmill on Brady Stream just center yourself and head south on a direct flight.

Looks like Mr. A. Mole left his car parked after a long day at work at Windsurfers Solitude.

(Now, how to change the style of houseboat? Hmmm.)

Just look for this orange ring on the dock. Click and the houseboat styles will pop up in blue box. 8. La Galleria has a gift gallery displaying free seashell decorations.  I have most of these tucked away in my messy inventory. Cute prints especially to add to your summer beachy themes. Just subscribe to a mailing list. As a new returnee and LH homeowner, I have found the LH forum and community to be a saving grace.  Is there anyone out there creating anything beautifully meshed with loads of colour?

I am looking for something as colourful as Baron Grayson's Fat Littles (see picture below).  His textures were always lush and velvety or beautifully replicated whatever he was emulating from RL into SL.

I have rediscovered Cory Edo and discovered Apple Pancake's piece but I am seeking more colour. Any suggestions are welcome.

If this is the incorrect place for this question, please feel free to remove it.

I was just going to suggest Trompe Loeil antique set https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Trompe-Loeil-Hudson-Chair-PG-mesh/12974818

Take a look at Apple Fall Oxford Wingback Chairs in solids and patterns. I've used the cream white one and tinted it into different colors. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Apple-Fall-Oxford-Wingback-Chair-Solids/15872370

I use LISP quite a bit for their different looks https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/LISP-Lilac-Thistle-Whole-Living-Room-Set/7743098 Visiting their store will give you ideas on how to match up Victorian vintage with their iron frame beds and chairs.

Go visit an old favorite LAQ which has a furniture store on the lower level. https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LAQ Decor/68/61/34 Low prim count with a definite vintage appeal.

Here is a link to an earlier Victorian home I decorated. LISP in the living room, Apple Fall with LAQ main book case, LAQ dining room set with LAQ in the bedroom and bath.

I would like to thank whoever abandoned the lovely log cabin my alt, Fluttersafar, got.  It was a long search.

The person who abandoned the cabin also had taken a very nice photo for the land page that showed the best way to site the cabin.

It is good to have an alt  back in Bellisseria, and I hope the person who abandoned the cabin has found the home of their dreams.
