@Perrain Berenohn Celebrating my 100th forum post by enjoying your fab flickr album and welcoming you to Bellisseria.

I am happy to imagine rooms which I can't see! I was wondering about adding some fake doors to add to the effect.

@Morena Tully what a beautiful job you made of decorating, and I so love your garden. Maybe your neighbours are waiting for the weekend to get more time?

No lack of empathy here, the process is too stressful.

Try using 1024 instead of Bellisseria as a key word. The B is too easy to misspell.

This is a process which heavily favors those who are able to camp in front of a computer and just happen to be on line and able to pounce at just the right moment.
It's a lottery at the moment. You don't have to camp though.

You can get a linden home, just not the one you want (yet)

Why live on the mainland if you’re just going to live in an isolated fort?
I get the economics, but it feels very inefficient to have such varying needs being at odds with each other.

It would be good to have more of a choice. Mainland with and without fortress abilities! I feel like it erodes my boundaries to have to either look at walls, or derender second life to the point of extinction.

Bellisseria is a lovely place, but not so good if you want your own style of house, or just a garden or some such thing.

One problem with a list is 'people who change their minds'. What if the list is say, a three months wait, people who have settled elsewhere, left sl for rl issues etc etc. It would be massively inefficient. How long would you give someone to claim their site, what about those on vacation, surely a week grace period should cover that?
The present system has a lot of faults, and is way too stressful, but at least those who are getting houses are those who currently want them.

I know!! It's got to be about personal priorities and getting the balance right.

that gives 75ish more people a home
I really wish more people could get their homes quicker. I think the moles are just going as fast as they can right now.

Something that is already popular such as tropical? This could be versatile and stretch from bali beach properties, to jungle houses, to houseboats, to amazonian river theme? Could be made really attractive.

1 region going in less than 10 seconds means 5 regions go in less than a minute.
Or 5 regions still go in 10 seconds?

My (UK) view of a 'trailer park' is of retired second homers , sipping their wine before taking an array of dogs for a wander round the specially designated pet trail, while discussing their pension investments with fellow members, then a quick swim or workout on the Nordic walking simulator in the leisure centre.

I can't take any design credit for this rather lovely part of the Sharp Continent North Coast (the old teen grid). My contribution was simply to click the rental box (that's me centre shot lounging if you can spot me!)
I won't add a landmark as that might be misconstrued as an advert for the landlord, but please message me if you would like a link.
Image is taken at maximum view distance with no derezzing.

I thought I'd got it, then it drifted, I have various different spelling in folders, landmarks, you name it.
I know there are Is and Es somewhere, and double ss's and lls but they wander about in an ill disciplined way unless I look it up (and even then that depends on the accuracy of whoever I copy it off)
I think I need some sort of rhyme or similar!!
Can any creative types think of something?

Lack of research the problem here I think. Euros have done rather better than I expected (I am one!) There are lots of people that missed out from all nationalities. Keep trying and you may get lucky, or just get a readily available mainland plot, pay no tier for 1024m2, enjoy prettifying it up and come back for your linden home when the rush is over!

How would this help get a home, confused!
As for 'are we a DDOS?' todays bunch went in 7 seconds, that's a lot of people at their keyboards.

This is beautiful, and such a great use of what could have been an awkward plot.

too high a refresh rate may cause misses
Agreed, the extension needs time to read the page. Anything under 3 seconds wasn't good for me, hence the multi-tab approach.

Maybe one of the Moles overheated and they hosed them down?
Weather would be amazing.

my refreshing interval missed some.
Try running multiple tabs with a sequence of prime number intervals.
