one of the locations I truly love - an early parcel - has three random items placed in it, a description of "second vacation home" and belongs to someone with their only description being "land rental assistant" .... this is where I say hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Someone renting out a non Belli parcel and offering access to a 'holiday home' as part of the deal? Oooh scuzzy.

Poor LOD exterior stuff drives me nuts! Belli has raised my expectations. I would be happy to cut down on the number of objects I have in order to get more robust trees etc. @LittleMe Jewell your add-ons are working a lot better than many yard horrors I see (including my own). What can we do?

How horrible, it's awful that you felt you had to put up with this for two months. I hope you get it sorted soon.

Search coco designs main store, some of their clothing is “out there” but it’s the most normal clothing I’ve seen in second life
Thank you, another to add to my list

This is exciting to see, and seems likely given the big hints dropped at the birthday bash.
For me the views out the window are the big fun of virtual train riding, and I am frustrated by riding mainland tracks due to being continually being pulled out of immersion by floating buildings and other anomalies.
A train ride seems like a fab way to view gorgeous Belli

I'm a bit disappointed that Ebbe is a bloke. I really need to pay more attention.

Releasing THIS Traditional in Limevale in around 10 mins (or half past the hour). Nice street, close to river. Can just see water from front/side yard.
Round the corner from mine! Congratulations to whoever got it. I'm loving the laid back 'blending in' decor that residents are contributing to this area, it really makes for a good vibe.

From my recent experience I would say that the refresh limit is a bit variable. Whether that has always been the case I don't know.

I snagged a lovely plot in Limevale about 1 1/2 hours ago. Must have been a 'catch and release' from yesterday?
It's really nice to be back in Bellisseria with my own place.
For the refresh club;
Finding this plot took two days. I found this using manual refresh. The alarm on the auto made me jump about 1 1/2 mins later than I had already claimed the plot.
I saw around 3 or 4 others during the previous search period and was too late for those.

I'm having a tough time working out how what search terms to use. I don't particularly want over conservative or frumpy items, just things that don't look fetish or which I'd be happy to wear out in the street in real life.

It would be interesting to know the stats for derendering. Most derendered object in SL? Probably something banal. Would be therapeutic to have a derender tool which makes appropriate noises when activated.

I became a premium member today because I wanted a houseboat. Premium members are suppose to be able to get one. However, I have been looking and looking at all these empty houseboats but none are available. This seems deceiving to me. It's very difficult to get one of the newer homes!
Unfortunately it seems like you missed a lot of forum discussions earlier on about this

@Arduenn Schwartzman Mainland sky clutter was my biggest shock when returning to SL after a long break in other grids. That and humungous 2D backdrops.
As for photo backdrops, I think SL survives because it is so flexible. I get that it makes photos more interesting to get every available bit of detail in frame, and the sets created are really well done, but the lack of appeal to me is in more or less recreating the same shot taken by so many other photographers. If I was more focused on fashion instead of landscape it would probably be different.

What, you don’t like being orbited, trapped, or TP’d home?
Back in the old country (Inworldz) an orb scripter sold his wares with the default setting to tp intruders into his orbitally high shop.
I really hate unnecessarily short warning orbs, but using orb software to try and capture potential customers was so bad it was hilarious.

When did you last see a Bellessarian home available?
in Linden Homes

Auto sees them, but is too slow to actually grab the homes. It used to work more effectively, but the refresh limit has changed the balance.
