LL. Get your act together. Yes.. I understand these are being "manually" verified now. But how about paying us at steady and consistant intervals. For example. Actually paying us after waiting three business days consistantly instead of having us playing the guessing game on when we are going to get paid. Employees at LL would be rather pissed if the check they were expecting did not come on friday, and they had to wait without knowing if or when they would get it. Seriously.

You took away the ability to cash out instantly with no warning leaving me no time to plan ahead. It has been a week since I processed the Usd credit to my paypal. I really need my money. That is all.

Came across this pretty little gem today. "Good News : Linden Lab has approached us with a potential solution that would allow us to serve our customers within the bounds of the updated Second Life Terms of Service. We are in discussions with them and look forward to being able to share more information very soon." Taken directly from the virwox website. Hopefully they do come back! Fingers crossed!

Are there ANY remaining ways to sell your lindens without LL service?
Alexxis DeCuir replied to a topic in Merchants
I HATE using the Lindex... if you were in the commerce group recently, you'd know that I went off and didn't have very kind things to say. It really isn't necessary for us to be waiting a week or two for cash when they have the technology to get it to us sooner. -
I personally do not think that a micro payment system will work inside sl for merchandise. When users buy L, they use real world currency to purchase it, and then forget about the transaction because they now have L to play with and spend as they please without really thinking about what they are purchasing. If users are forced to use RL currency for each and every transaction, I think the economy will tank because it will force users to think about each purchase before they buy as they are parting with RL currency for each transaction, where as before they had already parted with their their RL currency only once when they bought L.

Linden Lab taking a bigger percentage of sales on marketplace?
Alexxis DeCuir replied to Alexxis DeCuir's topic in Merchants
The transaction balances listed above is the amount of L i received after LL took their cut. I don't understand how you came to the conclusion that they are taking less of a commision than before. The same item was purchasedsingularly by both customers. (No other items were ordered at the same time by either customer) Before the new marketplace changes took place, I made 38L more per transaction on that item by iteself. All I want to know is why am I making less now. The item in question is listed for 1900L. A lot of my items are. Looking at recent transaction history, I used to make 1843L per 1900 single item order. Now I make 1805 for that same order. Anyone know whats going on? Or have the same issue? **edited to add** And yes this transaction: 09/13/2011 06:53:13 xxxxxx Source: Marketplace Linden MKT2 Item Sale Description: Order #xxxxx, Item #xxxxx (Customer Name) L$1,843 came before this one: 09/13/2011 12:48:50 xxxxxx Source: Commerce Linden MKT2 Item Purchase L$1,805 I just took them directly from transaction history in the original post, so it shown the most recent first. -
I noticed this on the 13th. It must have been the exact same time they rolled out the new marketplace changes. They are taking more L per sale. Is this correct? If this has already been mentioned I do apologize. Can someone tell me if they are taking a bigger percentage with these updates? I can't find any information on this. (The information below is two customers purchasing the exact same item) 09/13/2011 12:48:50 xxxxxx Source: Commerce Linden MKT2 Item Purchase L$1,805 09/13/2011 06:53:13 xxxxxx Source: Marketplace Linden MKT2 Item Sale Description: Order #xxxxx, Item #xxxxx (Customer Name) L$1,843 Thank you for any info on the situation Alexxis

I havn't read through the entire thread. Just half. I noticed this on the 13th. It must have been the exact same time they rolled out these changes. They are taking more L per sale. Is this correct? If this has already been mentioned I do apologize. Can someone tell me if this is going to be the new percentage they are taking per sale. "Failed To Initialize Motion" when uploading bvh files
Alexxis DeCuir replied to Alexxis DeCuir's question in Technical
This worked perfectly! Thank you so much. I had no idea the first frame had to be the T pose. That was probably what was prohibiting me from uploading my poses. I learn something new every day. Woo, now I can finish fixing my other poses , upload them, and then figure out how to get them into my mushroom. Thank You again! -Alexxis -
"Failed To Initialize Motion" when uploading bvh files
Alexxis DeCuir replied to Alexxis DeCuir's question in Technical
I haven't uploaded animations/poses before. When I opened the poses in poser, and pushed play it says it's 30 frames long, but its just a static pose? I'm a noob at this stuff, just got Poser 8 less than a week ago lol. -
"Failed To Initialize Motion" when uploading bvh files
Alexxis DeCuir posted a question in Technical
Hello everyone. I made some static poses in Poser 8 and exported them to .bvh files. When I try to upload an animation to second life it says "failed to initialize motion" and has the upload button greyed out. I have the lastest viewer for second life, and I have tried to upload all of the bvh files I have with the same outcome. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
