Hi Guys! I upload rigged mesh. The time it takes to upload rigged mesh on the new firestorm takes a lot longer than previous versions. Sometimes, it crashes my viewer altogether. Anyone else encountering this issue? No issues on previous releases.

Ebbe has mentioned that processing credit to paypal will be faster in the future. When will this happen? When will Sansar open to the public, and when can creators start learning to develop for this new world?

I bet these "hand picked" merchants are also the ones who are already on Sansar, getting a leg up on the rest of us.

where are people finding a fitted mesh skeleton that actually works in 3ds max? I downloaded one from the wiki but the bones import wonky and is useless for rigging.

Definitely interested to know if this is available somewhere. I am having no luck finding a second life skeleton and mesh body to rig clothing to that has the collision files. I have downloaded the ones from the second life wiki but it doesn't not import correctly no matter what settings I use.

I've been uploading mesh since it has become available in SL. In the past week or so I have encountered this issue several times. Error: Material of Model Is Not A Subset Of Reference Model. 1. There is only one mesh, one object, no additional LODS. I auto generate LODS in the mesh upload menu. 2. There is only one standard material, only 1 face. 3. It is unrigged. 4. I have tried Reset Xform, Attached a simple mesh plane, exporting out of 3ds max 2012 into Maya as well as Zbrush 4R6 and exporting as various file types and then importing back into max, nothing is working. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Edit To Add: I had taken off the uvw map in zbrush, exported into 3ds max and it uploads. However, when I add another uvw map to the mesh, it fails to upload.

When Xstreet was here, it was instant. When LL bought xstreet, it was instant. Virwox was instant. The technology is there. They aren't using it. We are being forced to use lindex because of money laundering. Ok. Why punish those who are actually earning money legally? Anyone who is self employed and being paid through paypal are paid instantly. Those who use freelancer websites are usually paid twice a week on a reliable schedule. There are scheduled payout dates for these sites. With LL it's wait and see. Don't give me bull**bleep** about planning my payouts when there is absolutely nothing reliable about the system LL uses to actually plan around.

Ebbe, if you are listening, please make cashouts to paypal faster for those who have good long standing histories of cashouts. There is no reason for legit business owners who have cashed out for ages without a problem to have to wait this long for our money. I am not talking about hobby business owners. I am talking about those of us who pull thousands from the game every month. Thank you if you are listening.

Hi there Shrouded! I have been using max Slav as well, but unless they updated it it doesn't include the cbones. Am I missing an update?

I have downloaded the avatar skeletons from the LL website. When I import the .fbx files into max all of my envelopes are too large, and horizontally parallel to the floor. They are not in the correct place. Is there a proper fix for this anywhere for 3ds max users? I do not want to have to go through and adjust every single envelope. This has been the issue with all .fbx files that I have tried to import into max. Any advice?

There seems to be more than one avatar doing this, most likely the same person between them. I have had two more contact me, both with "issues" they have had with my full perm mesh, requesting another copy to "fix" the issue. These scammers will either 1) tell you the item wasn't delivered 2) contact you repeatedly about an issue, but refuse to tp to you or send a screenshot of the issue Both cases the avatar is exteremely persistant, and start to belittle you if you don't give into their demands. They will come up with some bogus chat log between them and a "linden" saying that this is happening to a lot of people. You can tell the log is fake because it is riddled with spelling and gramatical errors. The people who are doing the scamming aren't native english speakers from what I can tell. All I have to say is please please please check transaction history if ANYONE requests refunds/redeliveries. It takes a few minutes of time but can save you from being scammed.

I have been contacted by the same avatar too. She said she buys my full perm mesh templates and that they wernt delivered. She can't produce transaction history or order numbers. She is very persistant and will continue with the lies until you give in or block her. I apologize for typos. Replying from my phone.

If you had the decision to work at mcdonalds for minimum wage, or work from home whenever you want and make quadruple that.. which would you choose? This is why I rely on SL for my income.

Online payments aren't a new thing. And at one point in time we had instant payments through xstreet which was owned by LL. They have the technology to do so. So I do not understand why they do not offer it to accounts that have a long history with them. Yes. I do rely on Secondlife income as my "job" income. All I am asking for is continuity in payments from a company that has the potential to do it.
