  1. It sounds like the land is virtual or the land is like your dot.
  2. But its price is not 95k, but instead 850k L. This is confusing post and better be deleted or moved to some rent or whatever...... And region prims count is not 20k but 22500 (just to be correct with information).

  4. Below 1/4 region I have nothing to do with land. Castle dont fit. Also me interest only parcel next sea. Before this I even dont have much interest to logon at all to inworld. I searched land already few days inworld. There is something, but only counted one hand fingers. The picture is sad. Not enough mainland. I hate private estates, they are like some asocial prisons.

  7. There is some option to wait more days and then buy cheaper. I see the 8 day is maximum there. Buy example, I want to buy 200 000 L, but I can wait 1 months. When I wait 1 months, can I then get cheaper than waiting 8 days?
  8. Parcel dont need to be absolute flat. The 67 USD tier is normal, but prices are about 200 000 L, about 600 USD.
  9. No, its nothing, it fits well into 1/4 sim. But I was seen also castles with about 200x200x200, whole sim. It was Romeu Tomsen-s own castle (not for sale). It was one of amazing thing in SL ever. Romeu Tomsen castles are just plain art, even cant compare with others. In one day, when I again teleport to hes castel, there was nothing left. He tell me that all was completely lost, it was too big to pack into rezzer, details I dont know what exactly happens. There was countless rooms, every room full of furniture and art. All made by Romeu. I visited it often. It was so sad. I never seen in SL something more beatiful than this island.
  10. But I readed from Linden website "Openspace Regions are intended for scenery, such as forest, countryside or ocean. Only available to Residents who own at least one Full Region." So, seems only residents who already own private region can only buy additionally Openspace. Openspace tier is normal, but with 750 prims I have nothing to do anyway. My 100x100x100 castle alone is 2000 prims. I see the main problem with private region isnt in land settings at all, but rather isolation problem, and when no guests then security settings also become nonsense. There isnt social life as I understand. No choice, I must buy mainland. Tier fee is normal, only land price itself is scary, but no choice anyway..
  11. Remembered, instead llSetRegionPos() was WarpPos(), but I rejected it for good reason, but dont remember why.

I just readed about this llSetRegionPos from wiki and I dont like this function at all: 1) "Tries to move the entire object so that the root prim is within 0.1m of position.".......I dont understan this at all. Root prim is the actual object position, what the heck is 0.1m ? Does this means that coordinates arent exact at all. 0.1m is huge mistake in buildings. 2) "If the position is below ground, it will be set to the ground level at that X,Y spot."......very bad, to put objects below ground must be normal building practice. 3) "the object can not move to position due to parcel/region restrictions (object entry rules, prim limits, bans, etc).".......I suspect this means also "no rezz" option. UR can rezz (actually move) even to "no rezz" land when "object entry" is allowed. Also UR dont care from prim limits when object is temporary. From wiki I cant read how about temp objects rezz at all. Temp objects limit is = (parcel prim limit - used prims) + minimum of this( 0.5*parcel prim limit+400 or 1000)
  13. Im not sure how much in SL are landowners who owns multiple sims in bunch. But the idea was to make rezzer without region limits. There was also additionally 2 other purposes why to rez into next sim or through next sim: 1) when I was previously inworld, there was one "secret" possibility to rezz objects into no-entry land. It was possible only through region boundary. Inside region no-entry works, but in region boundary not. Im not sure when, but this "bug" was fixed and now everywhere no-entry works also through region crossing. 2) the other purpose, that is possible also today, is to just rezz objects into next sim where is not set "no-entry", but rezzing is blocked. Of course I dont suggest anyone to do this with some resident land. Because then it classifies as griefing. Even when there is only one mouse click to stop this by land owner. But its possible with Linden lands, as squatting. And aslo, I dont say sqatting is allowd, its your responsibility and its little undocumented area.
  14. Ok, you mean this llSetRegionPos is more like jump or teleport for objects, without object moving to destination? This sounds interesting of course, I think 2011y wasnt such function. But anyway it cant substitute UR, because as function name says, it dont work across regions. My UR can rezz objects also into next region. For UR dont exist regions. Of course there is room for developing next version, example when object is already moved into destination region, then instead of moving to use this llSetRegionPos function. But how accurate are this function coordinate parameters? Im little concerned about it. I was seen lots of rezzers those rezz not 100% exact coordinates.
  15. I wasnt used llSetRegionPos(). My UR dont move rezzed objects. After objects reach final destination, they cant be moved, only there is option to destroy whole building. UR working logic is first after rezzing, move objects through previously predefined trajectory points (only when this is set up manually. You can manually sit on box and move box to some location, save, then next location and box records this. If you dont want, just skip this). Then object start calculating where is shortest way to destination. It moves by triggering X-Y. When it reaches some no-entry land between box and destination, then it moves back and tries other road. Example your land is not rectangle and there is some neighbour land between. Of course, as object is temporary, there is time for this only 60s. If within 60s it dont reach destination, it destroys. When object is enough close to destination, then it moves Z coordinate accurate and jumps to right position, right angle etc. All acpects I even dont remember right now, it was 6y ago. And everywhere I used absolute-global coordinates, not sim-coordinates, but coordinates of whole SL. So, for UR dont exist regions. There, in programming, was also one aspect about numbers limits. So I used some manual calculation without this limit, so coordinates and angles isnt only correct, but exact absolutely. And then it restores transparency. Yes, I used llSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast(), but not PRIM_LINK_TARGET (dont remember, dont know).
  16. I still dont know one thing - example when I rent 1/4 region of private estate, then what kind of land settings I get (for land security manual tuning). Are the settings the same as in mainland or some limited? I wasnt before get interest in private estates, because I suspected land settings are limited and my primary interest is to own land and get all settings (I like land settings and land, it sounds like fetish , it is fetish). And to buy whole region in private-estate..... tier fee is too high. And 1/4 I cant buy.
  17. In 2011y there wasnt at all such thing as Mesh. I still dont have understanding what is Mesh. In 2011y it rezzes temp objects without problem. I talk about my product Universal-Rezzer (UR). Thank you if you readed or interested about it. When script was put into object (before taking it into inventory and later to box), then it automatically makes object temporary (then you must quick take it). It was because moving non-temp object is problematic (wastes prims or at all cant move if passing-through land dont have free prims). But in menu you can choose do objects stay temporary or not in final destination. If those new Mesh objects waste prims even when set to temporary, then its completele user responsibility. But in most scenarious there is no difference - user can just rezz objects and there is no importance do object is temporary or not at all in moving phase. It was made just in case when distance is too far. UR was made for rezzing very big buildings, where you can take box or move box to different location and still rezz the same objects to exactly the same location. You can also choose in menu, do you want next time rezz objects to the same place (regardless of box location) or move also objects relative from box previous location......Mesh is interesting thing. I heared it used more for clothes. Surely I in future also learn it more. UR, while objects move to final destination, objects are set to temporary, transparent (objects all prims every sides are recorded to database) and phantom. After final destination, all is again restored.
  18. Hi, I was 6y away from SL. In 2011 I made one rezzer product. It was also in Marketplace and all works perfectly. Now I plan to return to SL and put it back to Marketplace. I have question - do it still works as is, or I must recompile it? Or change something in source code? I have no idea what changed in SL scripting.
  19. This is interesting, I hadnt idea about it. But teleporting is yes bad idea. I use Thomas Conover flying HUD. There I can withe console command "/up xxx" or "/down xxx" or "/goto xxx". And no problem with TP routing.
  20. Very thanx. Was this also in 6y ago and I just forget or new Firestorm feature. Nevermind, its goot stuff. Of course I use Firestorm. But I remember that before I used some special tool that shows only parcel walls to end sky. Ok, this was good teach. I just talk in forum because I first collect money before building something. :) I already find parcel, next sea (I like sea), that I want to buy, 1/4 SIM, near 200 000 L. Its crazy, but I still like live next sea. Its about 600 eur. Of course I contact with neighbours....its too much money to do some stupidity.
  21. Minimap is crap. Minimap is very not-accurate measurement tool. You cant build in such a way - rezz in land and then set Y as something 5000m. Because you are in ground and to fly into 5000m wastes too much time. I just remember I had 6y ago (I wasnt 6y inworld and returned recently) some tool that makes visible vertical parcel boundaries around parcel in any height. I just dont remember what it was, but Im sure I find it in my inventory, it was some HUD, maybe Thomas Conover tool. But anyway most heaven is anyway empty and when some resident want to put skybox exactly to the same place as mine, then I dont have any problem to move my whole skybox up or down. But you thin only I want to rez skyboxes . No, I think when my neighbour want to rez skybox bigger than parcel, then I have nothing against it. Better is always communicate and tell to neighbours where anyone plans to build. They both fits.
  22. Exactly for this reason abandoned land in neighbour is good choice. Also, how you know at all that skybox is bigger than parcel? In heaven, there is no property lines at all. You just dont know if you dont start some special measurement.
  23. Hi, Is there in market some tool for land searching? The SL basic search is very primitive. Example I want to buy land and filter only lands near sea. Also I want to get more information about region or neighbour region. Example to find land where neighbour region is sandbox. There should be nice to live next sandbox. I can open map, but map dont show almost nothing. I have one very good SIM-scanner. It scans by wearing hud or by rezzing scanner and then I have additional software in computer that directly connects with this scanner and hows almost all information for every parcel in region. But to work with this scanner, I must myself be in that region with my avatar, inworld. I cant use it by searching whole mainland to find best parcel to buy. Example I like land next to sea, next to sandbox and more Linden abandoned land (fewer traffic and no possible conflicts with neighbours when I rezz some skybox that is bigger than my parcel. Its normal when skybox is bigger than parcel, but only when neighbour can also put sybox, probably to different altitude then, so no conflicts). But this search is so primitive. Also, example I like to be filter lands by shape, so I prefer full rectangle without some small excempt in center (I was seen such lands where land is for sale but in center is some small quadrant not for sale) And map dont show this.
  24. Personal land is better. I had once group land and encounter very specific problem. I buyed ORB. But ORB can work only in owner land. As ORB wasnt transfer permission, then I wasnt able to give it to group. Also I think there isnt possibility to buy it directly for group. Anyway, ORB is mine, but land is group owned and my ORB wasnt worked there. ORB thinked I want to put it into foreign land.
